I'm not sure if this would be possible, but a plugin that could hook into Google AdSense and earn money for a server would be awesome! It advertises in people chat. It records the number of people on the server and sends it to Google. Google pays the server owner based on these statistics. Like I said,not sure how this works, but if anyone could make this, that'd be great -ty, Merrick King
Advertising usually pays for clicks not usage. So if you have 100 users on 24/7 but one click per week you bring Google 1 click/week. I don't even think Google would allow this since typically you run Google's code on your page and it does the work for you, but even if you got passed that hurdle you'd still have to get users to click on a link in chat. This might be possible with the right ad API, but TBH the idea leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Google offers no service for this. Google adsense is also aimed at web sites, not in game environments. Another thing is that Minecraft currently dosent offer any method of displaying images/videos in game, only text, so to put it straight - its impossible.
