Plugin category: Mechanic Altering Suggested name: ExtraTime A bit about me: I am a Minecraft server owner and host. What I want: I want a plugin that allows control over the day night cycle. Just a simple config allowing me to dictate length of day/night. I am starting up a zombie apocalypse server and would like to be able to have like 5min of day and 15min of night instead of the normal 10/10. Similiar to the old plugin Extended Day. Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: No perms needed. When I'd like it by: Obviously sooner would be awesome but trying to get something within 2 weeks or so, so I can get this started.
TimeShift doesn't allow you to change the length of a day or night cycle, but in the comments there's a list of a few plugins that do allow for shorter or longer days and nights: TimeFold, TweakedCycle, and TimeMaintain There are probably others. I have not tested those plugins to make sure they still work.
Thank you very much for that info Looked over them all. TimeFold and Tweaked Cycle are completely out of date, TimeShift is intriguing but as you said it doesnot allow length control so heres hoping that TimeMaintain Updates so it'll actually work. Interesting but only extends day, I'd prefer to shorten day, but in either case I need to make night alot longer
