So recently I've been trying to set up a bukkit server but I have been running into some problems:

    What I've done:
    • Placed files in wanted directory
    • Port Forward 25565 for my router
    • Turned off my firewalls
    • Correct Bat file setup
    • Hamachi is turned off (not using it for Bukkit)
    • No errors when craftbukkit.jar is turned on via *.bat file
    Error I am getting:
    • I can log into my map using LocalHost, no one else can using my IP.
I have looked through several hours of online posts, videos, links, and tutorials with no answer; and posting on several different forums for a solution hopefully. I keep wondering if there is something I am not doing correctly.

If there is some information you might need in order to help me better, please ask!

Note that "server-port" is blank because another host said he didn't have his filled in and it worked, tried it as a solution and did nothing.

Server ip is empty? What are you hosting this from?

I left it blank on my post as I didn't want just anyone seeing my IP.
And to answer your question directly: my laptop

Must be a forwarding problem then, sorry but i don't know much about forwarding. What error do other players receive? Also is your ip static or dynamic?

Should be static, I will have to check. And it might be a forwarding problem, used http://canyouseeme.org/ and said it was not being forward. Will have to try again.

Using Cisco - Linksys E1000, and in the 'To IP Address' it shows 192.168.1.[_ _].
the blank is a space to add 2 characters 0-9.

192.168.1.1 or what ever is not the correct ip ^^

Assuming your on Windows, in the CMD type "ipconfig" and look under the line "IPv4 Address" and you'll see your internal IP, make sure this is the IP you port forwarded (as it will periodically change). Also I use the Linksys E3000 and there are two port forwarding options, "single port forwarding" and "port range forwarding", if you also have these options you must use the "port range forwarding" option.

    Hope this helps.

I know what my IP address is. You can just google "IP Address" and it will tell you what yours is at the top of the page.

Will try this, thanks you two.

So, I think the issue might be that I'm not putting the right numbers into my port forward in my router settings online. Other then that, I don't see what the problem might be besides maybe some random antivirus not allowing it through.

Maybe then try disabling all antivirus/firewalls for the time being and seeing if it works?

All my firewalls should be down, it's kinda hard to figure out what antivirus is still up though, my brother when he owned this laptop for a bit downloaded about 5 or 6 different ones and it's been difficult getting rid of each of them. Will go on another spurge for them though, think what I am using right now is just malware.
I can't really allow you or anyone to do so, as much as it would help (paranoia and all that jazz), though I appreciate the offer.

So using http://canyouseeme.org/ I still get
Maybe I will have to look through another video for port forwarding, that or something else is blocking it.

http://i47.tinypic.com/2zztiyq.png - What my port forwarding looks like.

According to my CMD with IPConfig, it says my wireless IPv4 Address is 192.168.1.149
