We use creative mode often to get from place to place (we have a few (mostly 20) chunks to our selves with 20-40 inbetween us. Sometimes we like to fly from one place to another, but creative mode flying just seems slow What I want: I'd like to see Speed modifications either based on items you are holding (feather = fastest, wheat = fast, dirt = slow, stone =normal) Ideas for commands: /fspeed <1,4> changing speeds Ideas for permissions: fspeed: true/false able to set speed, otherwize default to normal creative mode speeds. When I'd like it by: Before I learn how to program java ( about a year or more away) I'd really like something that is server side. Similar plugin requests: I've checked zombie's mods, but don't want to try to tell 5 different people how to download and modify their minecraft.jar files. most any of the flying modifications, but not one specifically for flight speed.

Well trick them into downloading it, tease them that you can fly super fast. or... download this it is an auto installer .exe for VoxelBox but has zombies mod pack in it and other stuff. LINK
so... ask for one thing... a flight speed mod... and the first suggestion is, install things on other people's computers, that gives WAY more than whats wanted or needed. Thank you for the reply at least.

No, that's most the fanboys on each side. Spoutcraft is what they were talking about for adjusting your flight speed. It's a custom client that has an adjustment for creative flight speed in the options menu. You could always make a plugin that controls the speed of the flight as well. ok so they are talking about a client side addon... something that I dont want since my request is for SERVER side.

AND, somebody comes through with a flight speed mod!, I love it ... a little jerky, but who cares because you are jumping, from square to square, sure you can fly through a few walls, but thats good, when you're moving really fast!
