I'm using 1.2.5 recommended build.Should I change to Development build?

 

Redownload the 1.2.5 recommended build.

 

Make a folder called 'plugins' in the SAME folder as your bukkit.jar (or craftbukkit.jar) file, then put the plugin .jar files in the 'plugins' folder (It may already exist)

If you have Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), plugins will NOT work as Leopard only supports up to Java 5 without doing horrible hacky things.

 

Nothing Change,still can't load chunk.

I tried to use dev build and redownloaded rb bukkit.However,no improvement.Still can't load chunkD:

Of course, the damn thread falls off the radar due to the bugged notification system.

 

Try making a new world, but backup your old one first.
If the new world still has the chunk loading problem, it might be your computer.

Today I have been getting the "can't keep up! did the system time change or is the server overloaded?"

It started happening after I added "simpleprefix" and permissionsbukkit-1.5" but I don't see a problem with them, I also tried removing them and it's still happening. since then i've added other plug-ins but it's still same.

I have tried changing my ram from 1024 to 1536 but it doesn't make a difference, Yes I do run the server and minecraft on same pc but I have tried removing minecraft entirely and only running server, still same problem.

Can you tell me what TimeShift does?

Remove either Essentials or AdminCmd. They're probably conflicting.

I can set it so it will loop day, night, sunrise or sunset so it never changes. Also can change time of day by command.

 

Switch to PermissionsEx as there is a direct way of conveting your config file.

If you insist on staying with Permissions 3 change "player" to "Player" under your entry at users:. And use inheritance instead of copy/paste.

That's probably it. Servers don't usually like automatic time changing.

I installed timeshift about 3 hours after the problem started. This message is popping up every 2-4 seconds if it helps.

 

Try uninstalling SimplePrefix and see if that helps.

 

Didn't work, message is still coming up at same speed aswell.

Having an issue with Buildcraft plug in on my server. It looks like it is creating an item but then the item dissappears from the crafting window. Any ideas? Need any more info please ask. Already have tossed 3 computers out the window. not looking to add any more to growing pile outside. Thanks

 

I install them separately, I just want to say that any one of these plugin will cause "cannot load chunk"

there are some plugins that will stop people from talking before they move and stop them talking too fast. you should check them out.

I have a default group on my server for "guests" so what I have done is gave the fsb.bypass permisison node to everyone, but the guest group. This way regular players are not bothered by this plugin, but when bots come on, they can't do anything.

Help! I've got a few problems. The first is that i sometimes cant see players on my server, and it isnt just me. Other players have the same problem. Also, i have this issue where everytime i left click, it deletes something around the spawn. Finally, around the spawn (were talking 200 blocks away too) items often doesnt drop. Any suggestions? Also, PLEASE tell me how to fix this error. I have skype or whatever.

I posted a thread of my own on this, but I'm scrambling for any help I can find because this problem is getting on my nerves.

According to the Essentials Wiki, if I give the essentials.give.item-4 permission to Player, they should be able to thereby use the /give Player 4 command.

Yet, they cannot.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Is it something I have to enable in the config or is there another permission that needs to be divvied out?​

I also tried essentials.give.item-[4] to see if that might do the trick but it doesn't.​

I'm TRYING to get extremely limited item spawning to work - I want a usergroup to be able to spawn only about five or six things. I have another usergroup that can spawn almost everything EXCEPT about five or six things, using the blacklist, so I can't use the blacklist for THIS group.​

 

Essentials still being alive amazes me... I'm surprised its still around!
