1.2.x upside down slab and stair placement

If it does not allready exist somewhere, it would be handy to have a plugin that allows placement
off the new upside down stair and slab without requiring aiming up under another block.
My thought was perhaps <sneak key held> and placing resulting in the upper slab or upside down stair
being placed without requiring something overhead or enough room to actually see the underside.

Yeah! It's a really great idea.

 

I want something that can allow you to place a slab on the upper half of the block by aiming above the half way line of another block. Although that could get frustrating while building...
