i started a little bukkit server on my home network
so the ip is changing everyday
i want to play with my brother ( in same network) and with other dudes from my school
people can connect on my server by tipping in the ip of my router
i can connect by tipping in localhost
    but my brother can't
he takes his internet connection from the same router
how we both can connect???

Do you have any plugins, Like STAB, that can block the same ips if configured to do so?

You can't use localhost from two different machines and exspect them to open the same adress... Use the internal IP.
You can get this by typing ipconfig in windows cmd or ifconfig in linux shell

Are you sure your brother is connecting to your actual network? If wireless, sometimes people connect to other access points (neighbors, tethered phones, etc) without realizing it. Have him try to ping the IP address of your server.

Are you using Hamachi by chance?
Do you have an IP address in server.properties?

    no hamachi
and the ip in the properties is also empty

I'm running out of ideas then. Try temporarily shutting down the firewalls on both machines.

Also, if you have a third-party firewall, many are bi-directional and require you to 'trust' each network you connect to.

He should be able to enter the server's IP address (x.x.x.32)or the computername/hostname.
