Button Press = message?

I'm working on an RPG adventure server, and I wanted to build up a story via messages. I thought it'd be cool if the player would see a gold block and a button and know to hit it. Then the next part of the story would come up, from a .txt file or something like that. Is there something where buttons are linked to messages to the player? Thanks.

There are already plugins that do this except they are signs and not plugins.

That does messages, commands, console commands, the lot! Very lightweight and easy to use.

 

Okay, i finished! I added the feature to my plugin ButtonPromote:

Type /bp setmessage <message> then click the button you want. You can use spaces in it, and color codes!

ButtonPromote > CommandSigns for this. He wants a button, not a sign

 

He asked me for a link so I gave him one. I told him it was signs.

I'd say it's fairly similar to this.
