I have Swatchdog along with block logger to hunt for xrayers manually, the problem is sometimes snooping a player will lag the server out and cause a crash. What I want: A plugin that would watch a players ore count, (primarily diamond ore) and automatically kick them once with a warning not to X-ray, after their diamond mined percentage reached 5%(configurable?). Then ban the player after their diamond percentage reached 7%(configurable). Maybe it could be done with something over time - like how much you get in 10 min, One thing i would like to suggest is that it notifies admins and it does not kick/ban. At the last part... If i went on a mining trip, through caves and the first thing i mined was a diamond ore... Does that mean i would get banned .
Yes this is true, at least in game mail the admin's or Op's to notify about the offending player. But consider in all actuality you will have to mine a bit of block to get to diamonds in the first place. So you will already have a higher stone count. Also I doubt any new player with over %5 diamond ores would be legit.
There are existing X-Ray Percentages plugin, but I prefer Orebfuscator. One Percentage plugin is : XRayDeath I think...
