Replaced glowstone with redstone lamps. Light still left behind?

So this is the problem I'm having. We removed glowstone by replacing it with redstone lamps. The light from the glowstone was still left behind. This happened regardless of the material we replaced the glowstone with. Replacing the whole area with stone then undoing with WorldEdit seems to fix it, but I have a lot of areas like this.

Ran the map through Chunkster, didn't fix.

Any ideas on how to fix an entire map like this? Help appreciated!
