Do you mind if you help me? I have java 6 to get that out of the way. My problem is that for ALL plugins that I have the commands don't even work (The server says that they don't exist, but the commands work in the console) but the Non-commands part of the plugin work such as right clicking a spawner with an egg in MBox to change it and the wand in World Edit

You'll have to buy a [legal] Max OS X upgrade to either snow leopard or lion.

  5. Would you recommend Snow Leopard or Lion?

Go for the most recent and get Lion if you want the latest version of Java.

  7. I heard that Lion makes your computer slow. Is this true?

No, this isn't true. Lion is very stable. As stable, if not more so than Snow Leopard. Just be careful, and before purchasing Snow Leopard or Lion, make sure you have an intel processor. Snow Leopard and Lion will NOT run on a PPC processor. To show you the difference, and what to look for, go to the apple on the top left of your screen, and go to About This Mac, just as before. Look to where it says processor, and see if it says PowerPC or Intel. I have provided you with a screenshot of both types, so you know what to look for. Remember, if it says PowerPC, you will not be able to upgrade to Snow Leopard or Lion, so don't waste the money on the operating system. Otherwise, Lion is the way to go. I have been running it ever since release with 0 problems. Very stable and well-designed OS.

As you'll see in the quoted post, he does have an Intel processor.

I use OS X Lion - I miss some of the old features but I've got used to living without them.

  10. Well we got Lion upgrade on a different computer, and it made it extremely slow. But it's comforting to know it won't happen again with this one.
