So I have a player on my server (my daughter) who is not an OP. I used a magic mod that requires her to be a regular user. I just noticed that she is unable to build/dig around our house. I had World Guard installed but uninstalled it to fix the issue. The problem persists however. The only other mods I had installed are World Edit, MagicSpells, iConomy, Vault and Catacombs. Is it left over from worldguard even though the whole folder is gone?
No, although if you built your house on the spawn point for the map then that will be why. Bukkit by default sets a 16 block radius around the spawn point that can't be altered (unless you're an OP). To disable that edit bukkit.yml and set the radius to 0
