Hello everybody. I've gotten back into my plugins on my server again, and I'm wanting to change a few things up. I joined a few popular servers to get an idea of what they're doing(not necessarily to steal anything). I found a server that uses a very interesting plugin that seems to alleviate the need to police grief and at the same time avoid having to set plugins like HawkEye and maintain them. I don't know the name of the plugin that was being used, however, hence my problem. The server admins chose to wisely hide their plugins as to not be copied, and they don't have any of their plugins listed on their site either. So, I thought I'd describe what I witnessed and see if someone can name the plugin for me. I'd be very grateful for any help! Upon joining the server, it had a nice little spawn area with rules, etc. The gamemode was survival only(vanilla for the most part), so all new players had to go far from the spawn to find ground they could work on. The plugin would display the areas as you moved into them, as well as information such as PVP(on or off) or Building(on or off). Each area was different. I very much liked the way it was set up. I would LOVE to find this plugin, as it prevents people from building in certain areas. Also, each player would gain property if they build in the area they wanted. This prevented others from placing/breaking blocks on their property. I'm guessing that this is part of the same plugin, but I don't know for sure. If it's two separate plugins, I'd like to get both. I'm fairly certain that this plugin(s) is not Towny. If anyone has any idea what this plugin might be, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you! EDIT: I'm also looking for a plugin that will wipe a player's inventory when they switch between worlds. For example, if someone plays in a Survival world and they decide they would like to play in Creative, I would like to encourage them to store their things before switching worlds(because they'd lose the items in their inventory). This is to prevent players from bringing items back from Creative into Survival and cheating themselves of the game. Anyone know of any plugins like this?
It's WorldGuard. Define regions and you can set entering and exit notifications. You can edit flags and create region hierarchy's
Thank you Rock! Does WorldGuard allow players to build on land and then gain ownership of that land automatically? That's the only thing I can't figure out with it.
