Me: I run a server with about 300 members, fairly knowledgeable with plugins but still have a lot to learn

Looking For: So im looking for a pluggin where by ice never decelerates the speed items travel on it, so in theory you could make long ice paths to transport all your items (as long as you have blocks either side so items dont stray from the path) It would also be handy if certain players with the right permission could also use the same effect.

Commands: There will be no real need for commands, perhaps to disable the effect alltogether? /ice on/off?

Permissions: ice.convey.use for the player to have the same effect on the ice?

Thanks to anyone in advance :) and i welcome and feedback/ideas. This is the first time requesting a pluggin and i hope alot of people like the concept :)

    something like this perhaps,
and also maybe pistons to help "push' items to get them started..

Hey! Im not sure if you want the items to be pushed or a player, but if you want a player i got just the thing!

You can configure what the bottom layer and the top layer is to create a conveyer belt. so, Set the top layer to ice then bottom layer to anything you want. I hope this helps :)

this is exactly wat i was thinking for player transportation! :)
but moving items is really what im after, i love the concept of conveyors and pipes (such as build craft) and would really like a Bukkit equivalent :)

so does anybody have any idea if this is even possible to do?
or any other type of item conveyance?

You could mabye ask the developer speedwalks to allow items to work aswell as players. :)
