Text Invisible in all config.yml's!!!!

As of late every new plugin I install on my server creates all necessary plugins folders and files but there is one major flaw. In my hosters file manager all of the yml's and configs show up empty, but if I download them and open the configs on my computer they clearly have all the text and I can only edit them on my pc and upload back to server for changes.

Would this be my hosters issue or is this something bukkit has done? It's happened to World Edit, AutoMessage and FirstSpawn so far.
