Ok I have a server I'm trying to use at school/home and I need permissions to help stop greifing while im not on. I need groups owner, admins, trusted, guests. I want to set up the plugin anti grief so that owner and admin can use tnt/place water/lava but trusted and guests can't. I want izone to work the same way, and Bpermissions to work to (optional). Plugins I have: PermissionsBukkit, Bpermissions, NoLag/tnt/moniter/lightning/itembuffer/examine/chunks, SuperEnchant, Spectate, SimpleJail, AntiGrief, FoundDiamonds, CommandBin, ChangeGameMode, bpermissions, izone, BKcommonLib Please help I use CB 1.2.3 r-01 I think
You're basically asking someone to configure your entire array of plugins. That's just... hours and hours of work at a minimum First thing: figure out how permissions and groups work. If you have bperms installed, I don't think you need PermissionsBukkit on top of that. Go read the bPermissions forum thread or its DBO page. You must have downloaded it from one of them. There is so much help out there. Once you figure that out, you will have to go look at the permission lists for every plugin and dole them out to the appropriate groups. There's not much of a shortcut here. I think there is a pre-made permissions file for CommandBin somewhere around here but I'm not sure if that was for bperms or PEX. You will also have to, for every plugin, check the config files that are specific to it and tweak them for whatever you're trying to do. Again, very little shortcuts to be had. It's extremely easy to load Bukkit. It is not extremely easy to build a customized server around plugins. It's very technical, but if you have patience and a willingness to learn, you can probably get there. In any case, you need to start at the ground floor... permissions
hey did you learn how to do the permissions for izone? im trying to do the same. but it is very difficult. i just want people to make their home with the izone just have one zone protected, and limited to number of cuboids.
