    Morning all

My players are pushing for my server to go to 1.2 today and while I don't mind that really, and they understand it may be a bit buggy, I've got a huge problem of good old BigBrother finally giving up the ghost. This poses a huge problem as I cant seem to find another decent logging/rollback plugin.

I'm not too worried about the rollback aspect for now, but I need the ability to log edits at least. I have tried HawkEye but as that requires a MySQL database that will take longer to impliment. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dj

I don't know what OS you're working with, but the mySQL install for Linux takes just a few minutes. Any comprehensive logging plugin is going to have a database backend. Just bite the bullet and install mySQL.

I use LogBlock. It is lind of in limbo right now because the author will no longer be updating it, but the app is open source and has a huge following so I'm sure that some dev will pickup the project.

Hawkeye has been working well for me.

Thanks for the input. I have spoken to my host and they are organising me a MySQL db now.

@Greylock Logblock is updated, you must use the dev builds. He keeps it working until they release Guardian (the merge/succesor of LB, BB and Hawkeye), if they ever gonna release it, that is.

DJTza If you want something that does not require a MySQL server, you could try SWatchdog, but I do not recommend it. If you have even half a dozen people playing on a regular bases you are going to generate so much data a database storage is the only realistic alternative.
