  1. Hello everyone,
I was just wondering, is there any way I could reinstall my hamachi server on bukkit ? For now, it's just a simple hamachi server and I basically don't have all the commands I want.

If anybody has a clue how to do that, please post back,
    Thanks,
    Roddick

Of course, I'd like not to lose the map I've been working on for the past month if possible...

I guess that with 'simple hamachi server' you mean you are running a vanilla server on hamachi.

    a) You posted this in the wrong forum section, try 'bukkit help' next time.

    b) If you want to stop using hamachi, you need to port forward (google it, if you can't find a howto yourself, you probably shouldn't be messing with these settings anyway).
Or you should pay a server company to host it for you (try veloxservers.com, you get a decend server for you and your friends from $ 3,39/month, or try the free trial, their CPUs rock, they dont oversell, and you get 1 GB RAM for just 13 USD, they also host on SSD drives by default).

    c) To set up a Bukkit server while keeping your current map do this:
    - replace your minecraftserver.jar with craftbukkit.jar, make sure to fix the filename in the RUN.bat file or whatever method you use to get your server running.

If you are using a server host you should set up a bukkit server there, stop it, delete the auto-generated world folders and upload your old ones.
