Hi peeps,
I recently got into minecraft around 1 year ago when some friends asked if i could put a minecraft server up on my dedi box for them to play on.
Since this time i have probably skipped the most amount of sleep since i was a teenager lol
The modding side and the hooks of this game amaze me, and i love the communial feel and creativity that goes on within the virtual world. But running the server and trying to educate those that come whilst having so many updates :/ well need i say more lol.
After running mod'd server's before like cod4, l4d2, tf2, ut3 etc this was a little different to set up and does have a lot of quirks lol (well it is a BETA !!(was)) lol, but on the whole is an awesome experience once set and still continues to offer new features as time goes by.
Minecraftuk has several worlds/servers running different generated worlds with different themes, so can offer those that have made it their home have a wider choice of activities whilst staying in touch in game with friends. RPG is as yet undecided but coming lol.
A BIG Thanks to all those that spend thier time putting bukkit together and website and ofcourse all those other bedroom genius's out there writting the plugins, Guys i would love to donate to you all and will if i ever have any money left in my pockets
