        You will need to rar everything in your plugins\permissions directory and your server.log and post a link to it here.

        Phoenix does seem wrong. Are you sure you aren't running 2.7.4 or running both 2.7.4 and 3.1.6? Post your server.log here first on pastebin.com. I just need the server startup log.

        I just confirmed that Phoenix is the old 2.7.4 version so depending on which version you want to run, I have a feeling your problems are caused by the files being in the wrong location. 2.7.4 needed a file named plugins\permissions\<worldname>.yml.

      So, rewriten the YML Data doesnt helped at all. I get the same Error at the same place some ideas ? Reinstall Bukkit ?
      Anything.. because Permissions is one of the Plugins i really need you know! Hmm... i did NOT TAB or anything i will search at Line 128 ...

        It isn't a tab and it isn't on line 128. That is saying character 128 but it really doesn't mean anything.

        As for ideas, you can zip up your whole permissions directory and I can take a look at it but it might take me a bit longer than normal as my main machine just decided to crash and will no longer boot. I'm on my laptop which doesn't have any of my dev tools.

        It was not in the permissions it was actual in the SQL Database there was an restricted char :D Thanks.

        BTW - the "gold mining" comment was just a joke. I'm in a somewhat unique position of being near a computer all the time and was always bored so finding this site was a great way to pass the time.

        There is no complete ranking list as far as I know. If you go to the 'members' page the top 12 posters is noted on the right.
        Plague is 'first' with over 4.3 k... unless you start spamming the forum you're not going to overtake him anytime soon :P.

      I have a problem with my permissions promotion/tracks My default group is Newbie when i try to promote Newbie it says that the user that is in that group is promoted. But for some reason they are not promoted. I can promote/demote any other user and it works perfectly fine but when i try to promote a new user that just joined the server i cant promote them using tracks. There is no errors at all either

        Yep (remove the parens around parent at least) and that is exactly why it is this way. If you were automatically added to Newbie, you would also need to type "/pr Positiveok w:world1 parent remove Newbie" just to put them where they need to be.

      Hey, I see your the new dev for permissions. Is the new file format the same or am I going to need to update my whole permissions file? Also do you know which plugins that is incompatible with. Sorry in advance if you wanted me to post on the Permissions thread. Hope that all the bugs get ironed out so I can update to 1.6.6!

        You should probably go with one of the omni-plugins like Essentials, Generals or CommandBook. If you choose to try Essentials, make sure you don't get GroupManager or GroupBridge as those will cause you a lot of problems.
