  Hi, when I download the craftbukkit installer, it says: Sorry, the files could not be downloaded. Click 'Retry' to try
  downloading the files again... i click 'Retry' over and over again but its still show me this warning or error. I have downloaded every thing i need to get this setup going and i have tryed to do a lot to not get this error. But i still get it So can anyone help me?

    Thanks ImminentFate, I have updated my video with new link installer works fine no problems at all, may I ask when will more installers be made e.g: Custom server with more plugins , Custom worlds - biomes, or even custom pre made servers with everything setup even permissions and other plugins, cant wait to start more video's for my viewers :)

    Pail is not my plugin, as I have mentioned on the post. Also, right now the installer is locked, because I have gone against the Terms of Service. I have contacted a member of Bukkit to come to an agreement so I can post the installer back online.
    If you need help setting up your server, just PM me. I will not, however, post a download link for the installer.

  Ok I can get on with the localhost:25565 but my friends can't get on with that. It always gives me different numbers like 127.0.0.1 did not work and I can not get any ip. Please help me! I need this server up. This is urgent my friends won't stop bugging me to get online.

    1. Go to whatismyip.com
    2. Give your friends that ip for them to connect.
    3. They should be able to connect by adding :25565 to the end, assuming you've port forwarded correctly (check my guide)

  PLEASE!
  How do I know my ip?
  I typed in a random ip ( 402.56.72.909)
  I stoped server (typed in stop)
  Then restarted it. It said unknown host and all these error mesages.
  Please help. Also when I fix that how do I open my plugin folder.

    In the server properties, leave the ip BLANK. when you hop into minecraft, type localhost:25565 to connect

  That is and epic picture! for that here is my server ip: 192.168.2.6:25550. you can be mod, once i fix wamp(probably need a new version) and start it. you can see if it is up vea minestatus.com. it is 1.7.3 while waiting for 1.8 craftbukkit.

    Lol ip fail XD. You have to give your external up remember? Otherwise no one can connect. If I try 192.168.2.6 it will probs connect me to my printer :P

    sry:) i get that ip off the top of my head because that is what i have to do because some other server i had created is localhost. this is the ip: 24.29.170.171:25550. oh and the real ip is probably on minestatus.

    A thing that will really help dude is notepad++. use notepad++ on the server yml file. There is more that you have to do to but just start a conversation with me and i will help you. and i need to remeber what else you have to do ;)

  Fate,I have a problem/question about port forwarding.I've port forwarded but when i use the port checking tool it says my port is not open even though I opened my server o.O any ideas?
  I tried using Hamachi but it's still the same..my friends still can't join my bukkit server.

    Hey, I actually got it while reading Philip Pullman's The northern Lights late at night. Kinda got too tired and merged words, and this one came out :) And I have never played Starcraft,my pc is probs too crap to run it on (1GB ram and 128mb graphics)

  hi fate ive been looking for something just like bukkit for me and a few friends but every time i download it. it gets deleted through my anti virus software now im sure an easy step would be for me to disable my anti software witch im really not keen on doing :P i was just wondering if you got any suggestions besides that

  First of all, I would like to say is thank you for your tutorials very helpful indeed! Now, On to the the problem. I cant connect to my hamachi server. I have it running but I cannot connect to it using my other PC. I have tried using the ip hamachi thingy and I also downloaded the new JRE7 Craftbukkit starter. (In your how to portforward...tut.) I have set my properties file with online mode=false and the ip empty.

    You have to make sure your firewall is allowing hamachi through. Your other computer also has to hava hamachi, and it has to be connected to the first computer using 5.23.145.32:25565 in the multiplayer screen. (replace with your hamachi ip)

    interesting... type ipconfig into a command prompt window and scroll to where it says something like "ethernet connection adapter 2" and use the ipv4 address there (the one that says 5.X.XX.X)
