Are you running 3.1 on a bukkit build before 1871?

 

If you're getting the 'unknown command' error, then it is likely that the plugin is not loading... probably due to improper configuration. Check your server log for clues as to where the problem is. Be sure to run your config file thru a YAML parser to check syntax.

I have installed this due to needing to be on the server without people knowing I am. However, when I join, it says i am vanished but they can see me plain as day

And I get this in the console:

Upgrade to craftbukkit 1.1-R4

 

yes, one does; NoLagg will not work with 1938, and CraftBukkitUpToDate says the latest recommended build is 1846 still.

 

Honestly I wouldn't recommend using NoLagg, and I'm 99% sure that CBupTD isn't version dependent.

 

I see, well, question finally:

Can I make it so users of the Owner group can place and destroy all blocks while in vanish mode? As well as open and close all doors (including lockette ones.)

 

Found a huge bug in the system. Yes this plugin hides you in the game but if you then log out and refresh it tells you all the connected players even if they are invisible. Though this would be good info to help us owners fight the war on griefers and xrayers!

When in-game do /v toggle nointeract and that will allow you to destroy block, open chests, doors etc.

If your users can't place or destroy, you gave them the permission node vanish.nointeract. Simply don't give them that one.

It shouldn't be doing so, I'll double check it's not just on your end.

 

Im on 2.4.1 as i cant go to 3.1 as my host only allows recommended builds so i am not able to update to the version required. My host is VeryGames.net

 

I can confirm this happens to me aswell. My players will just log out and see if there are unaccounted for players online and then go "Oh guys he's on"

- -vanish.nointeract to Owner group allowed them to do everything.

 

1.1-R4 is a recommended build, and works great with vanishNoPacket 3.1

Nuked the VNP configs and tried it with just the new R4 of the bukkit RB and my permissions manager.

Enable permtest in the config, say 'vanish reload' in console. Pick out a player in game who can see you but shouldn't. Then do /permtest playername vanish.see
where playername is that player. Let me know the result.

so my problem is:
I go alone on my server and ther it works when i typ /vanish it says me : you have vanished.Poof.
and /vanish you have become visible.
okay thats all good but when a member comes on the server it say :

That error shows that you are not on 1.1-R4. Upgrade to 1.1-R4 and try again.
