    Yep :)

  2. I used dynmap_residence before and it worked perfectly. Residence itself on the other hand did not so I switched to worldguard and faction but factions doesn't show on the map. :S

I remember having the same prob ages ago where factions only showed after a full restart of the server (a dynmap reload didn't even help).

Is there any nice fix for this or a small hint on my own stupidity? :)

Are you seeing the startup messages for Dynmap-Factions? Also, on the web map, is the 'Factions' layer showing in the layer selector?

  4. Yes and yes. Everything loads ok and I can mark it in the layer selector. Tried it marked as default and unmarked.

Ok. Now I got this in the console:
    Code:
    Task of 'Dynmap-Factions' generated an exception java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.massivecraft.factions.Faction.getFPlayers()Ljava/util/ArrayList;
    at org.dynmap.factions.DynmapFactionsPlugin.formatInfoWindow(DynmapFactionsPlugin.java:126)
    at org.dynmap.factions.DynmapFactionsPlugin.handleFactionOnWorld(DynmapFactionsPlugin.java:224)
    at org.dynmap.factions.DynmapFactionsPlugin.updateFactions(DynmapFactionsPlugin.java:425)
    at org.dynmap.factions.DynmapFactionsPlugin.access$000(DynmapFactionsPlugin.java:38)
    at org.dynmap.factions.DynmapFactionsPlugin$FactionsUpdate.run(DynmapFactionsPlugin.java:113)
    at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.scheduler.CraftScheduler.mainThreadHeartbeat(CraftScheduler.java:137)
    at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.w(MinecraftServer.java:503)
    at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:435)
    at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465)
I never had this before but after trying a bunch of things it popped up and now I get these errors no matter if I remove it and download the plugin again.

Since I'm just a read-to-know person and really don't know anything about these things.. Help? ;)

    Looks like I
Looks like I need to do some updates, if this is happening with 0.13. What version of Factions are you running?

  6. Im running 1.6.5b.

I see that you've release 1.5.6c now. And also that you have an alpha for 1.7.

I guess that they won't work either since it's prob this plug and not Factions that need the update? :p

Give new update a spin - let me know if anything isn't good.

I've just installed Dynmap-Factions for the first time, and I get this,

[WARNING] Task of 'Dynmap-Factions' caused an exception.

I'm running all the latest stable builds. I'm also running Dynmap-Towny which seems fine.
Both Factions and Towny show up in the map options, but no factions are showing on the map.

Make sure you're running latest code (0.14) for Dynmap-Factions (as well as the latest Factions).

You've got the 'markers' component configured in dynmap, yes?

What do I do if I want:
    Faction : Protoss - blue
Faction : FINALBOSS - yellow color
    Faction: Zerg - red color

    Code:
    regionstyle:
      strokeColor: '#FF0000'
      strokeOpacity: 0.8
      strokeWeight: 3
      fillColor: '#FF0000'
      fillOpacity: 0.35
      homeicon: redflag
    visibleregions: []
    hiddenregions: []
    custstyle:
      SafeZone:
        strokeColor: '#0000FF'
        fillColor: '#0000FF'
      WarZone:
        strokeColor: '#404040'
        fillColor: '#404040'

Is there any way the plugin can show cubes for 3D mode? It looks off as it's showing from height 64, whereas the buildings/owned land could be higher / lower than this number.

    Picture:
(Ignore the black sections, it's fullrendering)

What I can do is two things:
    1) Add the option of setting the Y coordinate on a region by region basis (not sure the best way to sub-select within a faction yet, but that would be needed
    2) Allow 1) to be done with a Y-min and Y-max, to allow 3D

I don't do 3D because the very issue your raising is 10x worse with 3D outlines extending from Y=0 to Y=128 : the blocks "look like they're in the wrong place" because the bottom of the block doesn't correspond to the apparent surface of the map (and there isn't a good way to do that efficiently).

Instead of an overlay, how about making it tint the "blocks" a certain color, that way it would not in the wrong place?

Alternatively, you could make it show "only faction blocks". Owned by the factions, it would only show the blocks inside the factions land. (Exploitable... people could use it to show ores and caves I think)

I can see an issue with the Y-Min / Max being Globalised, so if you set it to show one faction's 3D correctly, it won't for others... so i don't think that's a viable way.

Just throwing a few ideas out here.

Ah ok thanks, wasn't sure if there was a way to auto generate new colors for factions.

Can the %playermembers% formatting be improved? I'm on 0.14 right now and it just concatenates all the player names without spaces, making it so that the browser doesn't break up the lines:

  30. Have you tried just breaking it up yourself? %playermembers%<br>?
Prob don't work, but atleast try it :)
