    is there a way to turn off the full price list thing and just show prices for what's in the chest, it's huge spam.

    The huge list it what you can sell to the shop. without restriction it displays the entire list to you.

    If there is nothing you can buy, that's because :
    - your shop is empty : you must fill it in with stuffs !
    - or you dit /shop buy 0 or some stuffs that are not in shop (check with /shop buy command what you exclude from buying)

    Probably a bug into craftbukkit 456 ! it is often when you download the latest version (even if release or dev). Try #450 which works well for us, or perhaps a newer version.

    I will test it with the newest release tomorrow probably... time to sleep for me.

    Good idea. Would be simplier than doing it for each chest-shop !

    Decimal places do work with the last versions.
    Added to the todo list.
    When a player has not enough money to buy stuffs, the whole transaction is cancelled. I think I will do the same when the chest owner will not have enough money for sales. The player will then be abble to choose what he prefers to try to sell.
    Owned chests must be set up with maximums to avoid bankrupcy ! This could be complicated to do for chest owners... I'll do this, we'll see how it works.

    Did you forget to create your shop with /shop ?
    Any confirmation message when you create / alter your shop ?
    Everything you do has a confirmation message. If not, there is something wrong with your installation : look at your server.log and plugins/RealShop/realshop.log to check for any error.

    I will do this. The first will be op / non-op permissions into the config.cfg file.
    And after mostly Permissions compatible perhaps. Remember me when it's done that I will perhaps add it for groupmanager...

    These problems with dropped items are a real problem... Don't tell it to the players !
    I will search for another way to calculate my transactions / detect you are out of the chest. The actual version of craftbukkit does not permit this, so I've made patches to try other ways... that are not perfectly secure.

    Did this confirm to you your chest was a shop when clicked on it after your /shop command ?
    Check the shops.cfg file for your shop at the right coordinates... Try again. This should work.
    Have a look to the server.log and plugins/RealShop/realshop.log to see if any error can give us information about this issue.

    There are 2 prices list shown in fact :
    - first is the list of what you can sell to the shop.
    You can disable selling to a shop with the /shop sell 0 command.
    - second one is the list of what you can buy into the shop. This is the list of items that have prices, have some into the shop, and are into the inclusion list ( /shop buy +id1+id2+id3, all items if you did not use this option )

    Well the /shop command seems to become complicated... I will write a full user manual and FAQ soon if this mod grows !

    ok, but is there a way that i can set it to not display the whole list while still allowing people to sell?
    i just want it to show prices for what's in the chest

    Erhm.. I love how it interacts with everything, but this doesn't really work for me oO'

    One can sell stuff to themselves (????? profit)
    and then delete the '/shop' and take everything back, and repeat :S

    Is it supposed to be like that or am I doing something wrong here? ><'

    Latest RealShop and iConomy 4.

    I can create the shop. Client says "This chest is now a shop". When I right click I get this message:

    In this log you see that RealShop 0.17 is running. RealShop 0.17 works with iConomy 3.x, but not with iConomy v4 !
     
  8. There is a serious problem with the plugin that unfortunatly renders it useless for our server in the current state.
    The shop can simply be circumvented by taking stuff out and drop it to the floor instead of placing it in the inventory. It will not be replaced, nothing will be deducted. Free stuff from the shop. =/

    Some ideas from the top of my head:

    If players sell stuff to the '/shop' money should be taken from the '/shop'-owners balance.
    And if bought, added to the owners balance.

    Also, the owner shouldn't be able to sell/buy from himself. Just simply add/remove stuff from the chest.

    For instance, I set up a chest that buys wood, and sells iron.
    Players could only sell wood, and only buy iron. I get wood, they get iron. I get money, they get some money (User-set prices for a living economy :p)
    Also, a command to '/close' and '/open' (*hinthint*) the '/shop' would be great. So one don't have to set prices etc.. every time they want to pause there shop (For instance if they are saving money and don't want to buy wood :p)

    Can someone please help me? If i do /money i have 10,000 coins however when i open a newly created RealShop chest it says i have 0.0Coins in my pocket?? What do I do?

    I agree with everything mentioned there, and from what i heard most of that is in the works. Just a matter of the guy having time. The shop right now is more of a work in progress. But it would be so nice to have an acutal working player driven shop that worked fully. I cant believe that after 2 months of Hmod death there is still nothing at all to replace the sign chest , chest shops and so on. This is the closest and best one so far, just needs a bit more tuning and finally have my server back to Pre Hmod death running..

    seemed good at first, though it needs alot of improvements before its useable (for me anyway =/)
    1)Player can sell to his own shop, deactivate it and take the items back..
    2)I can set up a shop and the buyer decides to use the /shop command and deactivate the shop, taking things for free

    It sounds like the iConomy plugin has some bugs with their new double balances. They try to load double (5.0) as integers (which waits for 5)...
    I will try to send this issue to iConomy developpers.
     
  19. Baptiste, we really wanted RealShop so our players could earn money to buy land with Towny (Realshop->iConomy->Towny) - does it mean that I cant any longer use your plugin as shop for players to get money for towny?

    I was sure this will be a problem to somebody. Look at the lot of errors iConomy generates. Perhaps I do something wrong, but I do not want to lose my time trying to be compatible with iConomy, instead of improving my mod !

    As told in my RoadMap, I will probably create some transfer features to move money from/to my RealEconomy included mod to/from the iConomy account. If I still have iConomy compatibility problems, that will be only on that transfer part and not on the shopping process. So players will not be abble to hack shops anymore, even if iConomy crashes.
     
  21. Ah mate, you are our last, best hope for peace.. no, wait.. that was Babylon 5...
    Anyway, I need something to fuel Towny with money to buy land. Unfortunatly theres currently no shop system out there to manage that. But I can understand your concerns - dependencies can always become a problem...
    Btw, I havent noticed any problems between iConomy4.0 and RealShop 0.21.. maybe Im too blind,no idea..

    Yes I will be back to iConomy.
    The best is to have choice. I have personnaly no use of iConomy and I can't make my plugin work with the last versions ! Cool if it's working for you. I will still use RealEconomy, but if you need iConomy, ok, I will made my 0.31 iConomy-compliant.
    Wait for the next release in a few minutes...

    Compatability with iConomy is an improvement to your mod. I'm really excited for the next release of this and I hope I can get it playing nice with iConomy 4.1. It's exactly what I need - a balance between solely having player-run auctions and essentially giving players item-spawning powers with a global shop. With this plugin it's more like having an actual real-world store.

    COMPATIBILITY WITH iConomy IS BACK !
    See plugin description to look at how to activate this instead of using RealEconomy.

    If you do not need iConomy for another plugin (but sure this is the best way to make a lot of things with your money), you still don't need it : keep built-in RealEconomy plugin instead of iConomy.
