WhereIs - Where you at? Version: v0.2 WhereIs shows where a player is. WhereIs supports language translation: Simply edit the "lang" file to change anything WhereIs says. WhereIs supports and is tested with PermissionsEx. WhereIs also supports default Bukkit Permissions. And will support any permissions plugin that does the same. WhereIs also tentatively supports Permissions 2.7.4 and 3.1.x, but is not tested against these. If you translate this plugin I would be very grateful if you would send me your lang file so that I may share it with others in this post. Features: See where you/someone else is Commands: /whereis (player) - Provide no player to check yourself, provide one to check that player. Permissions: Nodes (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Nodes (open) Nodes (close) whereis.* - Implies whereis.self and whereis.other whereis.self - Needed to check one's own location whereis.other - Needed to check another player's location Download WhereIs Changelog: Version 0.2 Update for new bukkit build Version 0.1 Initial release. Playtime was suggested by @LlmDl
I'd suggest adding a /whereis hide command and an accompanying whereis.hide node so that some players can remain hidden
Could you add a time limit to how often you could use this? I run a pvp server, I want people to be to find players but getting the exact location would to too easy. I would love something where you could set your own cooldown!
I'm getting the following error when I try to run it in the latest minecraft version: What's up with that?
@NuclearW Hello again, chiming in to say that it works with 1597 and to request a new feature. I'd like the ability to alter the 2 coordinates by a factor of plus or minus n, where n is set in the config. The height coordinate doesn't really need to be changed, maybe an option to not display it at all? Thanks NuclearW, this would help disguise the exact player location while still letting players hunt other players.
Ah, so you mean fuzzy numbers? Hmm, I think I'll see about adding this in; gotta get the source off my other machine, though.
NuclearW Hello again! Sadly this plugin doesn't start any more using CB 1.2.5-R1.0. Any chance you could spruce it up and add the fuzzy number system?
