    I hope enchantments carry over with repaired items in the future update. It would be so awesome if everyone was running around in glowing, badass, super-powered armor wielding equally awesome weapons.

    With unbreakable enchants, it appears that super breaker ignores the possibility of no durability loss, and uses durability anyways.

    Guys, keep in mind that @nossr50 hasn't updated this officially for Minecraft 1.0, so it's not surprising that stuff with enchantments and other new features don't work right yet.

    Let him update first, THEN start bugging him about things that are broken. :p

    Sweet, that's good to hear. Is it still looking like a November release, or is it going to be later than that? Also, I'm assuming that the current version will work with 1.0 and just won't have any of the new features?

    I'm hoping to get it out by the end of the month still, unless I run into some big problems it should happen.

    Here's my take on how repairing enchanted items will work

    Arcane Forging (4 Ranks)
    
    Rank 1 (100+ Skill)
    10% Chance to keep enchantments per enchant
    75% Chance kept enchantments will downgrade
    
    Rank 2 (250+ Skill)
    20% Chance to keep enchantments per enchant
    50% Chance kept enchantments will downgrade
    
    Rank 3 (500+ Skill)
    30% Chance to keep enchantments per enchant
    25% Chance kept enchantments will downgrade
    
    Rank 4 (750+ Skill)
    40% Chance to keep enchantments per enchant
    15% Chance kept enchantments will downgrade

    @nossr50 - That sounds incredible. Much better than guaranteed loss of enchantment on repair.

    Yikes the API for Enchanting/Potions is quite bare-bones and in some cases non-existent. Unfortunately I might only be able to squeeze Fishing into this update until the API improves in functionality.

    Well that's unfortunate. Glad you're still working on it though. Maybe the API will be better after the RB for CraftBukkit comes out?

    Could you make the Level (minimum-Skill for...) adjutable please? (fishing, Forging etc...)
    And please add adjutable minimum Repair-skill for stone & Iron-Items.

    Would be nice.

    I personally don't care much for this type of repair.

    I'd rather just see repairing enchanted items take a specific minimum repair level, scaled by the combined enchantment level, or for repairing enchanted items require additional resources (diamonds, brewing resources, etc.)

    love the plugin, can't wait for the new version, and its the most loved plugin on my server :)

    just wondering if you have an eta on the release yet? not worried about, not asking when its gonna be out,
    just wanted to know if youd gotten enough done to have a rough idea when itll be ready :)

    I would like a toggle on for different worlds, so u can have MCmmo enabled in one world, but disabled in another if it is possible (i.e. disabled in a creative world, but enabled in the main world)
    also, ever thought of a fishing skill?

    I need someone to test out the latest build for mcMMO, they will need the latest CB installed.

    I want to get feedback on the Fishing Skill and the Master/Apprentice system as it currently exists.

    If you are willing to lend me your server and your servers population to test these new features that would be grand.

    You never get XPs in creative mode, so, in effect, it is automatically disabled for you in creative worlds.

    THis is fixed in recent Bukkit 1.0.0 dev builds, if yo9u're using one of the 1.8.1 compatible mcmmo builds

    I'd like to suggest a change to the new arcane forging ability:

    If experience levels are available, consume experience levels to reduce the chance of losing an enchantment.

    So a level 50 blacksmith could/would expend X experience levels and double the chance of keeping enchantments, or reduce the chance of losing enchantments?

    Might be too complicated though, possibly would require a new toggle to keep from expending experience repairing something you don't particulary care about?

    Are you planning on adding the ability to make Mossy Stone Brick just like you can currently make Mossy Cobblestone?

    Could you add a config option for a percent exp loss on death to this plugin? I think this would be a great way to deter people from leveling up their acrobatics by dying a lot and annoying everyone with death messages.

    My server is also available for you to test with if you still need more testers.

    its not 1.8.1 or up creative, its old fashion typing the item ids, and the admins got rid of it because it gave XP in creative, ill let them know about 1.8.1 creative

    The bug with enchantments going missing with various plugins that handle items and inventory has been fixed bukkit side with latest versions. so mcmmo can repair items just fine without losing enchantments now same goes with other plugins that would lose enchantments on items.

    ETA on a new version the current one errors out with spout 558 installed.

    I'm working on mcMMO right now, I hope to have the update out today and it may be that I have planned a few too many things to get it out today but I'm trying my best.

    Enchantment and Alchemy are going to have to wait for future updates since the API for them is lackluster in Bukkit right now.

    Looks like the update is going to be later than I originally planned, but it will be out soon.
