Why are you using such an old version of EpicZones?

im getting this error, how do I fix?

  4. Offline

    jblaske

What command is being issued that is causing that?

  5. Offline

    Dq231

Theres no command, it just does that after awhile. If I enter an area nothing happens, like its not even there. And thoses errors spam the console.

    jblaske

Okie dokie, I'll see if I can figure out what's going on. Restarting your server should remedy the situation when the spam starts.

The next release of EpicZones will be to support Minecraft 1.0

One of the older versions, maybe 0.25 or 0.26 are good for that build.

Would be cool if you could add a command that makes so a specific command is disabled in that zone.[stick]

Can someone tell me exactly how to make groups only able to edit in zones? so far my perms look like this (it doesn't work)

    groups:
    NEW:
    prefix: '&f[NEW] &f'
    default: true
    options:
    rank: '3'
    permissions:
    - epiczones.Server_World.build.deny
    - epiczones.Server_World.destroy.deny

Somehow entry protection won't work for the newer builds of bukkit :<
It just kicks someone out when he is entering a zone with "entry: deny". (Yeah the "Flying is not enabled bla bla bla" message).
If you allow flying epiczones just stops working. :D
But okay i know, i just have to wait for a recommended build and your update to it.

I would prefer Notepad++ to get it more organized ;) Then it will look something like this:
    Code:
        Member:
            default: true
            info:
                prefix: '&2'
                suffix: ''
                build: true
            inheritance:
            - Default
            permissions:
            - Your Permissions here

Is it possible to protect a zone from block placing and block destroying?

  23. You're kidding, right? This plugin was designed for that. Maybe you should help yourself mto the Wiki (in the OP). It tells you what you need to know.
It probably should've been the first port of call.

    Hey this plugin is great!
Quick question though. It seems that every time I reboot my server, the world configs reset, except for my default world. Why is that?
    Thanks!

Version 0.30 is now released. Visit the EpicZones BukkitDev for download links and changes to the version.

Seems to be a string of random bugs, alongside the PLAYER_MOVE and BLOCK_PLACE errors (perhaps some more?) To be honest, it just seems to spam the console without making a difference to zone setup or plugin functionality (from what i can see)...
Dev is working on it. Hang in there :D

EDIT: These issues are still present in 0.30

I've uploaded version 0.31 which looks like its fixing some of the intermittent console spamming errors that some of you are experiencing. Please give it a go and report back.

After reading through this thread a little, I couldn't find an answer to my following question so any help would be appreciated.

What I would like to know is, when I create a square zone it seems that two edges of the zone cannot be built on. Is this a bug, or by design? To clarify, say I build a 10x10 square zone. When my users try to build on this zone, there is only a 9x9 space that they can actually place blocks. I'm not quite sure why this is and would like to know if anyone could provide any insight. Thanks.

    CourtArtanis

Probably by design since the points you draw are 1 block wide...10x10 - 1 block from each side is 9x9....so just make the zone points 11x11 if you want a 10x10 area :)
