EnchantedBlocks - Place enchanted blocks that modify your speed:

    Version: v1.2

Now i know you have probably seen a lot of plugins that modify your speed so you must be thinking why should i use this plugin? Well i have several reasons why this plugin is far better than any others that you will find.
    • You will not lag when moving at all.
    • You will not be forced to move in the direction your looking.
You may be wondering how there will be no lag, Well you see, other plugins have the server actually move you at a speed in the direction your looking, this one doesn't. Instead, the user will receive the effects of a potion when standing on the block, they will be able to move freely in any direction, once they are logged out or move off the block they will lose the potion effect. Since this is the first release, there isn't many features, so if you want something added to this plugin, request it and ill work on adding it.

    Enchanted Blocks:

    • Orange Wool = Swiftness
    • Blue Wool = Jump
    • Purple Wool = Nausea
    • Brown Wool = Slowness
    • Red Wool = Healing
    Features:
    • Create a swiftness block.
    • Create a jump block.
    • Create a slowness block.
    • Create a nausea block.
    • Create a healing block.
    Change Log:

    Version 1.2:
    • Updated to support 1.2.3.
    Version 1.1:
    • Added extra block: Purple wool.
    • Added extra block: red wool.
    • Added extra block: brown wool.
    Version 1.0:
    • Just Released.

Links like linkbucks.com are forbidden and it is also highly recommended that you create a page on dev.bukkit.org for this plugin because eventually plugins on plugin.bukkit.org will only show plugins from BukkitDev. ;) Other then that looks good :)

EDIT: Didn't see your comment at the end. Still skeptical though :/

I haven't tried it yet, but does it have permissions support? So I can have a speed block work for one player and not another?

could you also add the other potion effects on other colours like invisibility on light gray wool or something. or nightvision would be neat too.

The potion names are built into the Minecraft client but the effects actually do nothing, i suppose i could make the invisibility potion make players invisible to everyone else when activate.

that would be very handy for a city based minecraft map. you could easily become a thief of some sort. be awesome really.

Nice, I really enjoy this plugin even though it's not the biggest yet. I'm not sure if it's just me but the Brown and Red wool do not seem to be working but i'm not getting any errors, could you please check this? Also It would be really good to see more wool effects in the future, thanks.

    - Also will this be updated for 1.2.4 or even 1.2.5 now that it's out?

My server would love to use this plugin, but the only thing at the moment that's keeping us from moving forward with this decision is that we are a no build RPG/PvP server, and we use a custom texture-pack, as-well as wool for decoration purposes, could you perhaps allow it to configure which wool blocks do what, or even assign what blocks give off what enchantments, like you type ./enchblock [enchant] and right click what block you wish to enchant.

Brown wool doesn't seem to slow me down at all. I'm using craftbukkit 1.2.5 R4.0

    Red doesnt work either.

I could add something like that but first i need to transfer files from my old computer to my new computer. The computer I'm on doesn't have the source so i can't do anything at the moment.

Strange, I'll take a look at it and see if i can fix this .

  16. Could you add a damage block aswell?
