    HelpMe v1.2 - The best helping plugin!
    What is HelpMe?
    If you run/ are an admin, or a mod, on a server, you probably know that most users don't really know the plugins! So, instead of just having tons of mods/helpers to guide the new players, you can just use this plugin, which can be used by any plugin to show the commands!
    Sounds cool, how do i get started?
    Well, this plugin is new, so not many plugins support it right now! The only one currently is SpoutBlocks, my other plugin, and HelpMe itself! Later today, i will add RPGQuest, and all my other plugins!
    I want some plugins to support it NAW!
    Since it only takes a few minutes, you could ask the plugin's creators to add support! In the meantime, i am making a help library, which, right now, supports:
    • BOSEconomy
    • Buycraft
    • Citizens
    • iConomy
    • Multiverse
    Download it here!
    I am a developer, and i want to add support for it! How do i do that?
    It's really easy! Just go here!

    Changelog:

    v1.2:
    • Switched to Maven!
    • Methods now properly return HookingPlugin, HookingCommand, etc.
    • Added sub commands! :)

    v1.1:
    • Added command suggestions and automatic fixing, toggle the fixing through /helpme toggle (if it's not on, it will still give you suggestions, it just won't send the fixed command)! Credits to @codename_B !
    • Fixed some naming bugs!

    list off the top of my head, iconomy, permissionsbukkit, commandbook(because you'll need at least one "essentials plugin to start) and its simply the best,worldguard,worldedit, and maybe multiverse to round things out. this combination should get you started...

    if your feeling froggy maybe lwc/lockette and residence, that would give you a large installable base right off and hopefully users would nag authors for more support after that.

    Ok, added some of those, preparing for release :)

    before you go and do that.....

    would a command fail suggestion system be outside the scope of this plugin? I believe bpermissions has something like this built in so this might be a bad idea im just rambling at this point. or maybe im being helpful.... not sure..

    Yeah bPermissions has a command fail suggestion system :p I guess it'd need to be disabled if this one did the same thing though :S

    Ok, added that! :)

    Just make sure it's toggle-able in a config file too, don't want double command suggestion messages being sent XD

    This is true, you said you were adding a config to disable as well right @codename_B ? I'm not saying you have to i'm just asking for clarity.

    @ZNickq I've had two people bring up some things that seem to be good points. I know you have other projects and I am not looking to over load you. Think of this as when and if you get to it.

    @codename_B is willing to hook in however adding another dependancy is a concern of his unless we can get a mavenised git repo setup to ease things. This seems to be something that would help more than just one developer. Something like this could ease adoption and hopefully grow an installable base.

    @SwearWord had the following to say
    I have gotten a few Devs to hook in already and i'm trying to contact a few more (yay)

    Mine already has a config to disable, but my commandHelper also helps with bPermissions command arguments so people are gonna be more likely to disable yours if they're using both since mine does a tiny bit more :p

    @codename_B I agree, however thats one of the strengths of open source, choice and plenty of it :p I can foresee someone choosing a lesser option as it suits their needs... i dont know why but stranger things have happened... Thanks for all your feedback BTW

    Yes put it in maven but as soon as Bukkit gets its bleeding edge repo I'm going to work on unifying this within Bukkit.

    Ok, adding config to disable it!

    @SwearWord
    Which, knowing bukkit, won't be very soon :p

    @mrvertigo27
    Ok, i'll add some kind of chaining! Already got something awesome :)

    Huh? The bleeding edge repo is a priority at the moment.

    Also a lot of this can be done without anyone having to hook anything. Just use what they enter in plugin.yml

    So was fill when bukkit was first released...

    @SwearWord forgive me if im wrong but many developers dont declare things in their plugin.yml as they should. If everyone declared their permissions nodes correctly in their plugin.yml then I could rely completely on PermissionsHelper instead of random wikis, forum pages, bukkitdev pages, websites, GITHUB, and occasionally social networking posts????????

    of course im not hating on anyone, im glad to have people developing period :p

    @ZNickq
    Fill was never a priority and it's not the same thing, trust me it's a priority.

    @mrvertigo27
    I agree most of it is because people use subcommands which can't be documented individually in plugin.yml. However this is more a problem with Bukkit than anything else.

    @mrvertigo27
    okay, added "dev version" to the OP, has sub-commands using /helpme command [command] or /helpme cmd [command] , unfortunately tons of stuff changed, and none of the current plugins is compatible with it :p
    I'll port em over tomorrow!

    Is there an example of this used in its own class?

    Oh and I get this when I click on download:
    Code:
    HTTP Status 404 - /u/13921141/HelpMe.jar

    type Status report

    message /u/13921141/HelpMe.jar

    description The requested resource (/u/13921141/HelpMe.jar) is not available.

    Apache Tomcat/7.0.21

    Added my plugin BattleNight but I would like an example of hooking into it via a separate class and one line in onEnable()
