    This plugin makes it possible to craft, rune, mine and configure spawner. Just right-click with any item you defined in the configuration file and the spawner will change. You can also just spawn a mob by using the defined spawnitem or pistons.
    To change the messages and mobs edit the '/plugins/MonsterHatchery/config.yml'. Original file:

    Show Permission Nodes

    • monsterhatchery.setspawner - Ability to change the spawning mob of a spawner
    • monsterhatchery.spawnbyitem - Ability to use an item to spawn a mob immediately
    • monsterhatchery.craftrune - Ability to use create a spawner by using a rune.

    are you familiar with McMyAdmin? i run on servercraft.co and in the McMyAdmin software i notice that monster hatchery is not in the list of loaded plugins nor do i see it get loaded in the debug log at start up...it used to. the jar has now made a config file. but the server just doesn't load it

    What the ... ? No I don't use McMyAdmin. I don't know what you're doing wrong ? What plugins are you using ? Are there already problems with some of them reported ?

    i have now got rid of every single plugin and only ran monster hatchery..it now finally loaded in the logs but it still does nothing in game?

    i was on 1000 when this weird glitch started i updated to 1060 and it still will not work. weird thing is all the spawners that were placed before this stopped working still spawn the right mobs

    Are there any errors thrown ? I'll retry to recreate this and make a video of it.

    i follew the logs, nothing happens no error feed back

    all that happens is they get loaded and unloaded when the server starts and shuts down
    as i said i tried with every plugin disabled including turning off permissions and essentials

    CONSOLE: This server is running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-0.0.0-980-g4ed23b1-b1060jnks (MC: 1.7.3)

    Update after the 5 uninstall and re install of this plugin it is now working again :confused:

    thanks for assiting and trying to help me out joshue...i dont know what was going on... but i appreciate the help..some plugin devs i think take joy in not helping poeple out... the players on my server all love this plugin and will be stoked it is working again ^^

    I just wanted to upload the video ^^ I can't help you not (can I say so ?) because I want to know where my mistakes are so I have to help. All other developers give a shit on their plugins :D

    ignore_server_monster_settings: true

    Yet I can't seem to spawn monsters in a world where Multiverse-Core has monsters = false.

    I'm asking the server's properties-file whether spawn-monsters or spawn-animals whether I can spawn monsters or animals.

    I'm having the same trouble as bluehasia. I use servercraft and in McMyAdmin i cannot get the plugin to show up on my bukkit list. It will generate a folder for it and a config file in my files menu but that's it. I've tried over and over even deleting all other plugins and just keeping monsterhatchery by itself but it still will not show up in my plugin list. Is it possible that with some systems there is a conflict with the file name itself?

    just keep uninstalling everything,related to this plugin, and re uploading the jar it finally registered for me after doing that 5 times

    Hey, the people on my server and I love the plugin, but we were wondering if there was going to be an update to the latest build soon? Also, as I have noticed, friendly mobs need grass to spawn now with the newest bukkit builds and i don't know if that is intentional.

    Currently only the spawner does the action, so this "feature" you mentioned is also working on this plugin.

    Then tell me what do you understand, when you talk about "building" a spawner. Does it mean "crafting" or "placing" or "activate the rune" ?

    How can i deactivate the crafting and builing for the Spawner?
    Crafting = Make it in a Craftingtable
    Builing = Whit Cleanstone, Ironblock, Glass, Frence and Redstonetorch
