    When using Citizens, i get get spammed with constant "Could not pass event PLAYER_MOVE to Citizens"

    but only when a certain player is online? everytime this certain user moves, it sends this error?

    I got the same problem... i don't have access to anything on dev.bukkit.org.
    Tried multiple PCs, 2 different browser programs and from 2 different lines/locations/providers. :S

    I Got a citizens there are working with permissionsEx but it's keep saying to me i need to update and every time i do that the permissions dont work and i got a kind of a erro in console

    Permissions Issue - I currently have to give all players OP status for them to use any NPC, right now I have a Trader and Quester setup. I do use PexPermissions plugin so I have tried adding each permission one by one with no luck, everyone still needs OP status. I then tried the development (experimental) build which seems to caused even more issues such as OPs not to be able to use NPCs as it errored out and crashed the server when right clicking on them.

    Quester Item Issue - This is not a real issue but I am curious if there is a way for quester to take the item they ask you to gather. Quest A: Bring me 10 flowers. When you gather the 10 and bring them to quest giver for a reward (5 Wheat) is it possible to have the quester remove the 10 flowers from your inventory. I've found if you have repeatable quest with rewards the player can just drop the item and pick it back up completing the quest.

    @Dec64 - Your issue is that your "player profile" and the "game profile" locations are not matching up.
    You need to open your Citizens -> Profiles -> and find the character that is having the problem, then DELETE them.
    It will re-create the character file next time they log on and the issue will be gone.

    Remember, if you have a PLAYER_MOVE issue when logging it, it is probably because the "CharacterName.dat" file in your world --> players folder has a different location than the one in your citizens --> profiles folder. The easiest way to ensure this doesnt happen is to delete BOTH of the profiles in each location.

    @Sorwig - you asked if the quester can "take items from you" when you turn it in. The answer is YES. Look at the "rewards" node of your quest. If you want someone to take an item from you, simply make sure that the "take" node is set to "true". look at my code below:

    Basically what that does is reward the character by giving them 2 feathers, but it takes 12 paper from them.

    Also, ensure that you are using the LATEST build of Citizens - http://ci.citizensnpcs.net/ -
    click on "Last Successful Artifacts" then "All files in Zip" then download that zip and install it to your plugins folder. Also, ensure that you are using the Permissions.jar file that comes with the PermissionsEx.jar file. the Permissions.jar is required to bridge/Superperm for Citizens (correct me if I am wrong please).

    I create for example a HEALER and the NPC heal me but dont heal player
    Heal = admin
    No heal = players
    As I can configure the NPCs (mage, healer, trader) to the server players can interact with them?

    Check your permissions. Make sure you are using a compatible permission manager. The best way to determine this, other than just reading (duh) is to REMOVE OP from yourself, setup "admin" rights for yourself in your Permissions manager, and if you can still do stuff, then the permission manager is compatible. I use PermissionsEx (which is awesome) and it works really well with Citizens.

    Also, if you are sure that your permissions are working right, then you have to assign nodes to your "players" so they can use the NPCS. The healer node, which can be found on the Citizens Wiki (along with tons of other great information) http://wiki.citizensnpcs.net/index.php?title=Healer is: citizens.healer.use.heal

    @mspadu86 I have tired both true and false statement for take: under reward and the Quester does not take the item. In fact if I set it to true, they don't give the reward or take the required gathered items. Below is my quest code, maybe there is something wrong on how I did it.

    Okay @fullwall @Citizens @aPunch ...
    I updated all my plugins to "bleeding edge" / "cutting edge" / "most recent" builds.
    None of them are having issues except Citizens which started this morning for no apparent reason (I think).

    Now, what you'll notice is that there MUST be two rewards for this type of quest to work correctly. The first reward, '0' actually REMOVES the two seeds from you, and the second reward '1' actually GIVES you the 3 wheat.

    Ie I thought that by creating a npc players directly without having permits could interact with them.

    Is that I'm not very good moderating my server but as you would have told me to lower my PermissionsEx and give permissions to this mod players so they can interact with NPCs?

    When i try to assign a quest to a quester, i've this sentence:

    "There is no quest by the name".

    I've check, check and check again, but this quest exist, and it's the good name!
    So i think that it's a bug, but i dunno why.

    What I mean, is that with specific NPCs like "HEALER," "BLACKSMITH," "TRADER," you need certain permissions. Those can be found on the wiki. If you just want your players to be able to quest, the only permissions they need are:

    - citizens.quester.use.quests.view
    - citizens.quester.use.quests.abort
    - citizens.quester.use.quests.status
    - citizens.quester.use.quests

    For examples,

    I have an odd issue with the plugin to say the least. Whenever I install the Citizens plugin on my server, it seems to disable every plugin that hiddes those annoying "[Warning] Can't keep up!..." messages when the server is having alot of peeps on. Any workaround on that? It's confirmed to be Citizens, I can live with it, it's just a tad annoying.

    @Vittek - I suggest you update all your plugins to the latest builds. That may fix the issue. Citizens actually made one of my plugins stop working also, then I updated and everything is fine. Make sure you update to the most recent CraftBukkit also. If not, I wouldn't worry about the message anyway, it just has to do with the way the game communicates (it's not very efficient, thus creates that message).

    Edit: I wrote that I was using developmental CraftBukkit. I tried it and it caused some problems. Dont use developmental CraftBukkit, use 1185 Recommended Build.

    Need some help. I'm trying to toggle the Npc type to Gaurd. I have all of the Jar files in Types. and blacksmith, Quester, Healer ect. will work. but gaurd wont! It says Invalid NPC type. Any suggestions?

    I've tried it with the last dev CB, same issue. I don't think it's plugin related but rather a console issue. Even when I turn the ignore tick warning in WG, it still shows the Warning messages in the console when Citizens is running.

    Hi just simple question, i have quest.yml ; i have many quest how i can add all quest quickly ? I must do /quester assign quest , one by one or i can put all in one command ?

    @Silvo - Did you mean CB#1185? If you are using 1085, that is out of date.

    @Guenael - The fastest way is going to be to open your npc-profiles.yml file and find the NPC u want to add the quest to. Then you can just list quests in the "quests" node. The quests node is a subnode of the "quester" node which is assigned then you use the command /toggle quester

    quester:
    toggle: 'true'
    quests: egg1; quest2; lickme3; whataride4;

    make sure to leave a semicolon at the end...

    @azraeldestiny - go into your two folders where you can find profiles and delete the profiles. It will reset everyone back to 0 quests completed, at your original spawn:
    World --> Players --> playername.dat
    Plugins --> Citizens --> Profiles --> playername.yml

    @andrew44553 - it seems that you are misspelling the word "guard." Remember, you must first target the npc using Right-Click, then type: /toggle guard

    @Percefane - Does everything else work? If /citizens reload is the only command not working, then you're lucky :) If you can provide other symptoms, maybe that would help the community figure out whats wrong. To me, an issue with CUSTOM_EVENT sounds like something wrong with the Citizens Plugin, and we will just have to wait til they fix it.
