    Spawns first time users in a different location!

    Note: Essentials Spawn will break this plugin, making it useless. I am working on a fix.

    Do you have a tutorial area that you have to go through every time you respawn? Not anymore!
    HeroSpawn allows you to set a new spawn point called a "HeroSpawn", so when a user joins your server for the first time, they'll spawn there instead!

    HeroSpawn 2.0 also works with multiple worlds, when I user joins a world on your server for the first time, you can send them to the "HeroSpawn" of that world.

    I'm assisting a friend setting up a multi-play server using Permissions3. We added this plug and have looked but haven't found any permission nodes so we are unable to set the HeroSpawn. Yet again, I'm possibly missing something simple as I unconsciously look over sometimes. Any help would be great. Thx

    I originally thought that but once I added it to my selected groups, we still weren't able to set so I starting thinking it wasn't, looked around and found nothing else leading to me post.

    Hi, i want to use HeroSpawn, but it's doesn't works :(

    On the first join, the player is tp on the herospawn, but 1sec later, he is tp on the original spawn.. :s

    OK, I'm going to update this plugin within the next few days, i'll make sure the yaw is working :D - and I'll try and add multiworld support

    @Kainzo - Any other requests while I'm at it? It still works on Herocraft?

    i Think i am to dump. It still doesnt work for me.

    Well it looks like a Spout fail. BUT i need Spout. And i need your Plugin? So who have to fix? :D

    EDIT: I found it. This will appear if you do "/herospawn" BEVORE you set a "/herospawn set" ...But it works now. THX ;)

    Ahh, so does this effect a pre set spawn point?
    Also if my users have been in my server before, will they have to go the the HeroSpawn point, or will they go to where they were in the server?

    No, the plugin atm. Does not have a pre-setspawn point, or though. I will add one to fix the npe.
    If the players have been on your server before(Even before the plugin was installed) they will spawn at the normal spawn point when they login. Only players that have never joined the server will spawn at the "HeroSpawn"

  20. this plugin is incredibly usefull!! now i can make like a tutorial island where new players learn the rules and economy/jobs commands and learn how to survive in the server (because in my server i have a plugin that you have to eat lunch and dinner or you will get hungry and eventually take more and more damage until you die if you don't eat (1,5 heart each meal skipped ) and you will get hungrier soo first you take 1,5 hearts... after 3 hearts.. after 4,5 etc... until you die and thats very hard to tell to every new player in the server so with this i can make an island where all the new players spawn but older players don't thanks very much and keep the good job
     
  21. i set the hero spawn in one spot but even if a new person comes on it goes to the regular spawn point. i did /herospawn set and it confirmed the positon was set. anything i need to make this work?

    Important to know that this does not support Multiworld yet. Whatever world is the default world in your server.properties is the only place that herospawn will work. If you have world1 and world2... and world1 is your default world in server.properties.... than setting a /herospawn in world2 doesn't really do anything.

    Another thing to check.... is in the minecraft/plugins/herospawn - > there is a config file... check the locations of your herospawn... make sure it is set in the default world

    Also, a good way to test this.... if you have a test account for your server....

    Go into the world > players > findTestAccount > delete the TestAccount.dat > try logging into the server

    Ok, I am nearly finished with 1.0 which will include:
    • MultiWorld Support!
    I had to do a lot of work arounds to get it working with multiple worlds, so I want to make sure everything works correctly before I release it.
    It should be out tomorrow.
