  3. Quite simply, the chest will not be openable to players who are not in the exception list or owner of a region or are OP.

  5. I'm going to add the option to force a permission to be added/removed upon entering a region. You can see everything including my progress of the wiki ;)

    Look at the links at the top, I'm managing everything through github and you can set those percentages :D
    Added your mass command idea to the issue list which means it'll definitely be in the new Regios :D

    Considering your idea it would actually be a good feature. You'll see it in the new Regios :D

    New version will have unlimited sub regions and global protection with per world settings, see issue #69 on the wiki.

    Very very nice!

    I am also having a problem, this plugin works great but it will lead to my Regios towns not getting spotted and people can greif.
    Also it eventually leads up to deleting the Regios town I made.

    There is a problem where it gets rid of all Welcome/Protection/Spawnmob of the Regios I make, then leads up to delete all the Regios.

  10. Ok, don't worry; the recode will be perfect :D

    Recode Update :

    You can follow my progress on github but a majorly useful feature I have added is blanket protection and control of pvp and block placement/breaking. This means that you can use regios to control pvp and build rights outside for regions. For instance if you protect the whole world only players inside regions with permissions will be able to build as sub regions extend their parent regions (In this case the world) .

    Also there is pvp blanket control which means that Regios will control all PvP aspects. For instance you could blanket cover the whole server as non Pvp but then any regions with pvp set to true will be fightable in, if false then you won't be able to fight. Likewise you could blanket the whole server as pvp true and you'd be able to fight everywhere except regions which have pvp set to false.

    There will be per world permissions to bypass these checks as you will find out when I release the documentation along with the full version :D

    i have since found way to do what inspired my suggestion.
    thank you however for taking it on.
    i think the perm editing by regions will prove very useful in cutting down complicated setups like im about to throw myself into lol.... yarr.. :p
    it will probably cut down on server load too
     
  13. I haven't started on that feature yet. Do you feel it would be useful to still include as I personally can't see many benefits of it :p? I may be naive. I will however be providing an API for other devs to hook into.

    i do think it would be useful as it provides a variable in creating complex things on a server. it would also simplify an admins setting up something complicated greatly. its a way to restrict things to a region more than /commands.
    if it were done it would possibly provide compatibility with creations yet unknown of the future.

    i refuse to extrapolate and dont have the date to weigh it being a burden or benefit to server loads if implemented so i leave it to .. your call. it sure does make things far simpler as of now on the server creator end of things.

    if it turned out to be a burden on servers it would be nice that a version with the capability be an alternative :)

    if you scrap the idea please include a request that a developer hook a plugin to do this for regio's

  15. Yeah, I've been working pretty hard on recoding so I'm refreshing the bukkit thread and updating the github frequently :p

    I think I'll implement both a temporary permissions cache while in the region and a permanent one for adding and removing nodes. I already have quite a lot of features done.

  17. The only force I'll make is Spout; however most servers run this anyway, even if they don't the way I will update will be seamless so the owner won't even know :p.

    Hey, im having a problem setting pvp...everything is all correct (no erorr msgs, it's confirmed that it's pvp, etc.), but when i go to kill someone it's not pvp :(

    Any ideas here?

    Everything works fine except that palyers can't buy regions using the signs but when I right click the sign it doesn't do anything also I'm getting this error like 50 times in the log

    could you add BOSEconomy support, I just figured out that regios supports only iconomy thats why my signs weren't working.

  25. I'm doing a recode and 1) I'm not going to look into that bug because I am doing a complete recode so it's pointless.
    2) I haven't implemented economy support yet so I'll add BOSEconomy and iConomy. Any other suggestions?
