    Description:

    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    I think that there are too many blocks ID used with all that mods. You will not be able to have all of them.

    okk nvm guys i found out how to do it and it work so sweet but one problem build craft pictures are not showing ther are show half fancy pack and other one lol need help thank you if you guys a server that's itemcraft 1.6.6, bukkit 1060 with fancy pack , build craft, k super slopes , Pfaeffs Mod

    It hasn't been for me, I've been using Optifine and Itemcraft for quite a long time now.

    Is there a way to disable the "walk faster" function for road blocks in the fancy pack mod? Because I personally think that's kind of cheap and dumb and don't really want it on my server.

    Nope. But you can disable the blocks. You can do this by using this config line :

    We can't help you, if you don't provide us some information. Bukkit/Itemcraft version? What do you do before the error appear? installed Plugins? and so on...

    Okay, so simple answer please, as I've looked everywhere here, on Google too, and apparently somewhere there is a tutorial on merging ItemCraft.jar into CraftBukkit.jar so you just have one .jar file for your server without the need to change startup scripts, etc. So, where is this tutorial? Simply copying over the files from ItemCraft.jar into CraftBukkit.jar doesn't work.

    Never had any luck with ItemCraft, tried it multiple times, followed instructions to the letter. I've never got anything working with it. Fuck it now, can't really be arsed with it. Someone will develop a better way of getting SSP mods into SMP, and it isn't Spout either, since that's a load of shite too. I look forward to the day when someone works it out :)

    Although this solution works for Fancypack - not all mods support the option of block=0 to cancel it out, so please don't expect it to work for every mod using this solution.

    Your answer is a little vague - are you saying you have the 166 test server from this page HERE ? If so, this works, so if you've changed something, it would assist if you could enlighten us with your changes, or if you are using an operating system other than Windows, perhaps you could assist with posting yout 'start' command please.

    We haven't heard from you since @Tuttu last postto you - if you didn't understand what he was getting at, he was meaning you need to download the 16bit entity package from HERE and install it into your client. Were you successful in getting things working ?

    Yes, have tried it. The merged ItemCraft and CraftBukkit works fine, however its the client side I have problems with. I already have the latest ModLoader, so I just added ModLoaderMP and the 16-bit packet mod, but all I get when trying to connect to my server is "Bad Packet ID 230".

    If you're talking about SuperSlopes, yeah, same here. Only have a very small selection of the slopes available in SMP, whereas the whole range is available in SSP. I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm guessing its something to do with ID lines in plugins.ic

    Yeah, thanks for that... sorted it before I read your reply. Just wondering why this line wasn't added in the test config, had to read yet more long-winded documentation to work it out.

    I'm just fed up of how while all this is amazing work, the whole idea of Bukkit plugins was to be "drag and drop", with mostly automatic configuration. Now we seem to be back in the land of manually hacking files and editing configs just to get something working at a basic level.

    Okay, so for some reason I'm only getting a small selection of slopes available via TooManyItems in SMP. I get the oblique slopes, the upside down stairs and the corner slopes in what appears to be all materials, but I don't get any of the other slopes, such as the "straight" slopes.

    First I looked at KaevatorSuperSlopes.props in .minecraft, and that has all the ID's listed for block types, so my client knows what they are. When I looked at init.ic, I noticed it calls both kslopeids.ic and plugins.ic, so I checked kslopeids.ic and lo and behold, half of the block ID's are missing, so my server obviously didn't have a clue how to handle those ID's, and so TMI wasn't picking them up as available. So I edited kslopeids.ic to inlude all the missing block types and ID's, in line with the existing config, so it matched the ID's given in the props file. I figured now the server would know how to handle those ID's, and TMI would pick them up as available in SMP. But after closing the server down and rebooting it, I still can't get any of the missing block ID's! So I can only presume that at the moment, the server-side part of SuperSlopes (ICKSlopes.jar) does not support giving out all of the ID's that SuperSlopes in SSP supports. Is this true, or am I missing something here?

    As you can see, my kslopeids.ic now matches the values given in the .props file for SuperSlopes (albeit in a different order), so my server SHOULD know how to handle all blocks and ID's provided by SuperSlopes, in the same way it does in SSP. But it doesn't work.
