uhhm..i restarted server and it doesnt created a config file or even a folder.
So how can i play my own files?

and a "stop" command would be nice. But anyways...awesome plugin, good job.

the config will show up, give it time. the /stop command is in the works.

adding your own music- get any song YOU want and convert it to .ogg. then save the .ogg to dropbox. copy the dropbox url to the config and as i said the config WILL show up. give it time. there is a delay when the music is played. Be patient, type the command wait for it to download. after the song downloads wait a while and it should start playing if not type the command again.

EDIT: try to /reload the server. if the config doesnt show up redownload it then reload.

Can i request ideas on this thread if so i think there should be a way to connect it to a jukebox like a radio and also can you also add albums so you put songs in a folder and then you can play the song in the folder

To All that have used the plugin if you read this redownload and try it out. after getting a couple hours of sleep i realized what i did wrong actaully i wasnt all my fault just some lazyness on my part...

eclipse isnt exporting the main file. i cant figure out why it wont though.

as far as i know you cant add a whole album. i think in order to do this there would need to be a crap ton of scheduling events. ill try and work on ill see what i can do :D

This is an AWESOME plugin, I really do hope you follow this though and add jukebox control of this, it would be absolutely EPIC! I'm sorry notch, but 2 songs is just not enough for minecraft, and the world is so silent...

@Kane you should check this out!

Oh, that's great, I wasn't bashing you for 2 songs, I guessed that you could add more. I was just saying notch needs to add more then 2 records in minecraft. But this is great that you are adding support for so many songs! :D

Will you add support later so that servers can host their own music/lists?

Can I modify your plugin for personal use?

    chernobyl360

well heres the thing. im not sure what spout music can do/handle. Servers can host there own music now as it is. all you need to do is get the songs you want convert them to a high quality .ogg format and place them in dropbox :D. then there you go all the music you want....

currently im up to 30 songs,
the command system will change one more time to a [arg] system.

    /song 1 - 30

    ? lol what did i do D:!?!?!?

    in what way?

v1.5 released. added support for 30 songs. you want permissions? i dont really see the need for them.

There is tons of royalty free music not available on newgrounds that I can host off something faster than dropbox allowing for my own

    selection.

sure theres no need edit change the source. just upload your music to your choice of a filehoster and just make sure its in the format specified above :D

@chernobyl360 If I were you, I would try to clarify that you can host the song yourself. The thread makes it sound like you need to request it.

Sounds like a sick plugin... Is there any way you can hook this up to pandora? That would make this plugin perfect.

Are these songs global? So that everyone will hear it when they are on, or is it just for the player?

    Genre at first.

But then maybe custom flatfile editable playlists after? I'm actually hoping this will eventually add mysql support. I don't know how good you are with hooking into a database though.
