[MECH]FluidDispensers v1 - Dispense lava and water [740][INACTIVE]

Ill be currently taking over Fluid Dispenser Till Edward Hand Returns​

It works but if you run into any issues let me know.​

Fluid Dispensers v1

Shooting snowballs? Boring. Shooting arrows? Meh. Shooting water? Cool! Shooting lava? Hell yeah!

Instructions:

Fill a dispenser up with either 9 lava buckets or 9 water buckets and give it a redstone signal. It will then send out a 3 second pulse of whichever liquid in the direction it's facing. If you surround the dispenser on all sides with blocks, then it will try to throw liquid out of the bottom instead.

Useful for:​

• Traps
• Incinerators
• Water-triggers
• Cobble generators

Feature Summary ​

• Allows dispensers to dispense water and lava

Issues?:​

• REDSTONE_CHANGE error. plugin works perfectly for B740. just this will pop up every now and then. ill fix it then release another version.
• Full Power meaning hooked to a 5 clock will spam your logs.
• Full Power Will Shoot Out the Bukkits of lava/water

its because most likely your using a non official server build or your using some type of constant power source.

 

This is just another person encouraging you on the awesome work and another person to ask if you can add a config file in this plugin. please and thank you. ^_^

 

Im kinda confused, if i use a lever, will the current stop when i turn the redstone power down?

 

No it wont, it will turn off after 3 seconds.

That happens if you use a constant power source (eg. Lever, Redstone Torch, ..)

Try using a button

 

i tried using a button....but its not working. spits bucket out still....
= dispenser (hole facing that way)
= button (facing that way too)

Sorry i did something else....and now i have not just 3 second pulse but its on all the time

Hello Chernobyl360,
I have made a Youtube video of this plugin (i know its not technically "your plugin" but w/e).
It shows a glitch/bug i like doing with it.
i call it the "Water Pump".

yes i know. as you can tell others are having this issue. i wont be updating since it seems so broken.

 

i didn't say that was a problem. it just means you can't apply power from the top. if you power from the sides, it works fine. =)

Edit: Please, keep updating it. I enjoy this plugin very much =) It's well done. There's nothing wrong with it.

 

ok im gonna give this one last go. see if i can fix some of the errors. if i cant ill just leave this plugin for some else to pickup.

ok heres the report.

The Latest Update Has Made The Redstone_change error even worst.
Bukkits Fly Out More Frequently after this new Cb version


So Basically This Plugin Is Broke/ unusable unless some one with better coding knowledge can fix this.

I haven't developed for craftbukkit before, but I'm a Java developer and I love to use this plugin on my server. If you'd like I can take a look at the source and see if I can help.

 

If you're willing to pick this project up, I support it whole heartedly! =D I love this plug in and use it on my server (CB 766, MC1.5 as of this post) and I don't get any errors with it, so I can't offer any help in tracking down problems. =P All I know is if you apply power from the top, it spits out buckets. Power from the sides works fine (I left a nice little prank in a friend's mine with this. XD)

P.S. Chernobyl, you did great with this plug in, so don't be so down on yourself. =) Thank you for all of your hard work. I look forward to seeing the next great thing you create!
