  3. Hey there!
    I've got an idea concerning your plugin: Is it possible to configure NPC so they can add players to a permissionBukkit group, if the player talks to the NPC and, e.g., replies two question towards the NPC.
    Hope you understood what I tried to say.

    My NPCs still go nuts, constantly despawning and respawning. Respawning doesnt happen all the time though so a daily server reset is often needed.
    This happens mostly when going to another world (also when going to the Nether) but also on other times but to a lesser extend.

    Running latest Bukkit and Citizens (1.0.9d), any info you want for finding a fix to this?

    Could it be possible to have a healer with unlimited health ?
    Like a priest at a church who will regen life (with iconomy)

  9. I've set custom skins for NPCs but sometimes their skin just resets to default, right in front of me as I pass by :confused:
    I'm setting the skin using bukkitcontrib (ofc) on NPC spawn event... so what's the issue ? :confused:

    Oh and NPCs can be pushed around if placed on slabs :/

    For me reproducing it is as simple as taking a portal to the Nether or a portal to a different world, happens every time.
    But i assume i am one of the few which has this issue?
    As it is likely a conflicting plugin then i assume?

    I might add that i use the Plugin Nethrar for Nethergates (to avoid a nether for every world) and to jump between regular worlds i use Xcraftgate.

    Rest of my plugins: Backup, Blockcrusher, Dropchest, iConomy, LWC, motd, Movecraft, Myhome, NarrowtuxLib, Permissions, PlgSetspawn_op, Showcase, Stackable, Worldedit, Worldguard.

    I will try to disable some the next few days and see what happens.

    @Exanimo - I am leaning towards that a plugin conflict is causing this... I have tried nether portals and the npc remains spawned.

    I'm using MultiVerse.. When I'm going to another world, some NPC will disappear.. but some of the remain.. sometimes.. all of them will disappear.. But if I go back to the Main World, the NPC on my main world won't disappear.. but on other world, they will

    I was thinking something similar where dialog "events" could allow / cue a player to get certain permissions. To build in an area or use items or w/e.

    how about manageable inventories and some way of setting up an NPC as a dispenser .....

    I was making an NPC who was going to be the town clown of sorts and I wanted him to be able to walk around and throw slime balls at PC's

    I don't know if this is a bug but after setting the waypoints for the npc's they follow them then go back to their original spot and don't go again, why is this?
    Can they be made to just wander or follow nearby players?

    I didn't get a response so ill post it again. Sorry to be annoying. Evil Npcs cannot be hurt in a no-pvp area but can inflict damage. for example in worldguard or towny, if there is a flag of no-pvp, players cannot kill npcs but the npcs can kill players. Is there any way to make npcs flagged as players so they are under the same rules that players are? or is this a problem that the other plugins are going to have to address? thanks for any help or suggestions you have and keep up the good work.

    I have found that citizens is absolutely rock solid with no disappearing NPC's whatsoever after I disabled dreamland/skylands which was the only other world I have on my server. Fullwall looked into the dreamlands source code recently and advised a few pages back that he had identified some unusual ways that dreamlands was reloading the worlds which was causing a problem with citizens. Perhaps your multi world plugins also use similar methods? More importantly, hopefully there will be a way to work around it!

    Citizens makes problem with Custom Difficulty. If i have Citizens active with Custom Difficulty no Mob will be spawned...

    I can not say exactly what plugin (CustumDifficulty or Citizens) caused the error. No log entry is created.
    However, I can say with certainty that it must have to do with citizens
    . Custom Dificulty without Citizens runs normally.

    But along with other major errors which I have already reported I see no possibility, how i can use this plugin productive.

    Help with permissions, I'm trying to make it so only admins can create or edit npc and builders+ can use them
    i have tried adding - citizens.blacksmith.use.repair - citizens.trader.use.trade and admins having - citizens.admin, but when builders click npc it says they dont have permission to use the command, it says this for the Trader and the Blacksmith.

    i have even tried adding - citizens.admin to builder and adding nodes like - -citizens.use.* and so on, when it's set up like this, builders can still use shops,.. and they can still create npcs.

    This is my third post,.. any help what so ever would help,.. below i will post my permissions and citizens.yml

    I really like this plugin and i have maney ideas for it,.. Like i said any help what so ever will help,.. i have been messing with this plugin for 7 days now,.. and i dont wanna give up on it,.. i can see a lot of diff ways i could use this plugin,.. i just need this simple permissions to work :S and i dont know what i'm doing worng.

    I have an idea... not sure if it's possible though.
    I was wondering if it could be made so whoever logs into the server, the citizens mod will read that and add their name to the list of Evil NPC's that could possible spawn. And if it's on, they might end up seeing themselves somewhere in the map. Configurable on and off of course :D

    Yeah, there is something wrong with permissions. Thats for sure. the only way to use citizens with permissions is to be admin in the permissions plugin and thats not right

    citizens.admin don't work in Default only but If I set people to admin that inherit Default it works. So something is not right.

    we need e fully complete wiki, more command and options is hidden or incomprehensible!
    also better multiworld support my npc bugges itself randombly when there are interactions with another world!
