    Did you install the beta version of MoveCraft (0.7.0 beta2)? I probably should have been more clear that that's the required version.

    If you ever need to find a trace that has run off your console, you can check your server.log file.

    In other, completely unrelated news: Armageddon now supports Bukkit-internal permissions! :D

    PS: I just added a check to make sure that the MoveCraft version is supported and hopefully this error will not show up again.

    I am enjoying the plugin so far, but is there any way to disable the cannon messages? I use SimpleVend which requires you to click on dispensers to purchase items, but now every single time i click on one to buy something, the message "this is a normal dispenser not configured as a cannon." how can i stop this? if there isnt an option too yet, adding it to the config would be greatly appreciated. other than that solid plugin! im using grenades and guns in my Zombie mini game. :)

    I am glad you like the plugin! :D As for the cannon config display spam, you could try removing the 'armageddon.display' node from your permissions.

    I just tried this plugin a few weeks ago and loved it so far, but then I used the slimeballs too much and now they won't disappear :(

    It's really annoying and the server starts lagging as soon as you reach this area :/

    Is there a way to fix this problem?

    Okay, so newest build on CB 1000, and I was trying to track down why the guns were doing very low damage, thinking it was another plugin. I recently discovered it wasn't. Thankfully, the crossbow ability is no longer bouncing off enemies, but none of the guns are doing their listed damage. I set the shotgun to deal 8 damage a shot, and it still took forever to kill a simple pig, whereas before at 0.5 damage the shotgun was one shotting everything. I thought it was sRPG, but after the creator fo that mod added an override feature to prevent conflicting plugins, I realized the problem lie in Armageddon itself. I completely removed sRPG from the server, it was still doing barely any damage.

    Lastly, when I used sRPG to track the damage I was dealing, I was getting this with the override turned on:

    Only occasionally was I dealing 6 damage instead, and very sporadically, no matter what I set the damage to.

    Lastly, most of this testing was with the shotgun gun type. I also tested the crossbow type, but it didn't seem to be much better. I tested both because they are the primary two being used on the server, and easy to test.

    i have an issue when i use guns they fire but do no damage and i have not changed any of the gun power setting

    I don't know if this will help or whether or not it will work but I suggest that you try restarting the server. If that doesn't work i don't know what will.

    That's a glitch in the unmodified minecrapft code. I believe a server restart should clear them.

    Those messages sound like sRPG is changing the amount of damage is done!? Alas, I am on vacation this week with limited MC access and cannot test this in detail. I will look at it when I return the week after next.

    Yes and no. When I tell sRPG to override the damage, it turns to 2 damage each time. So, sRPG is not causing it. Then when I removed sRPG, I don't see any messages of course, but it takes like 4-5 shots with the shotgun to kill a pig, even if I set the shotgun damage to 8. So... that's definitely not it.

    I was wondering if something may have changed in the config that is causing them to not be read.

    P.S. Porkchops and wool still throw pigs and sheep. Can we please get this removed?

    Well, it turns out, some idiot broke my plugin when he tried to improve CraftBukkit the other day and never told me about it. Please try the latest release from the link above and shots fired should work as advertised again.

    Have you tried milk buckets? :D

    @sunkid I actually saw the cow one in there. I was looking through your code just now trying to figure out if the config file changed in any way. Are those only for OPs at least? I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn them off.

    Edit: Oh my gosh, it's beautiful. The mages on our server can go back to owning things in the face. Thank you very much.

    Last pieces of criticism. You already know I love the plugin or I wouldn't be using this, so this is just a few things that I think would add alot to the plugin:

    -Configurable shotgun amount (0.5 is the lowest damage you can get, so maybe a config for the number of shots?)
    -Smaller explosions available (tnt should be the biggest explosion in my server. Would be fun though to toss a cluster of bombs that only explode 1-2 blocks, or maybe I got the config wrong when I tried it.)
    -Timer and configurable size on the spider web grenade.
    -Configurable number of uses before reloading on the crossbow/sniper/revolver/shotgun guns.

    They are not configurable but I may be persuaded to remove them eventually. I needed some targets for testing and I thought it would be fun to leave these in. Not sure what the problem is having them :)

    @sunkid well, there's a few op/players on the server, and I don't necessarily want them to be able to toss animals around (especially by accident) unless they are given the admins group temporarily for events. Also, if they were configurable, you could change the number of uses etc.

    I got this mod for the TnT cannon while this was named Cannonball and that's all the function I knew about to make me want to dl it.... Then when my friend was building a sheep statue (creatures are off) all of a sudden a sheep pops out of no where and we're all confused. It was the most random thing to us, and I couldn't for the life of me remember what mod could possibly have that effect!

    So later I swung with a wool and one flew out and I started laughing my ass off. So then I snuck up behind my brother who was working in a room an threw 10 or so sheep at him while his back was turned and closed the passage way. Then I popped a hole into the wall and threw another 10 and closed it up! Soon he couldn't move cause there was so much sheep! hahaha This mod is awesome!

    One of my friends LOVE sheep that she can't even bear to kill any in minecraft. So when she was surrounded in a fountain of sheep, I REALLY wanted to throw a cow in there, but there isn't one for cows D= . She has to burn every one she sees. If only I could have thrown one into the middle of 50+ sheep.....

    @MuckYu There is a plugin to clean up world entities. That might be what you have to do.

    @Lotow I was getting that too, but he released a new version. Make sure you are up to date.

    Sounds like your server might need some restoration. You might be looking at some kind of corruption then. I would make a backup, and start messing with things like clearing the level.dat etc.

    The snowball gun glitches the snowballs everytime, and they are literarly unfixable.
    My nether is now filled with glitched snowballs, and I will be regenerating the world. This only seems to happen with the snowball explosions, not with tnt or anything else.

    Pm me if youd like to join the server and check it out for yourself. Anything you can advise to help me get rid of them? or is this a bug?

    I looked above see people have same issue with slimeballs.
    By the way I have tried everything you can possibly think of ;) I promise...
    Literarly.... everything. The only thing that works, is a new world.

    Okay, I'm on it.

    I send my worldfile to a friend and he started a server, I connected and everything works fine.
    No buggy Snowballs ... Now I have to find out what's the problem with my server :D

    EDIT: Okay, weird.
    I made a copy of my old world, then I deleted the actual world file and restored it with my backup. Now everything works fine :confused:

    I've been following this thread for some time now, and I've heard alot about glitchy snowballs. Here's the thing:
    The snowballs are client-sided, in which the server did not recieve a packet of intel fast enough to remove them. Client-sided means only YOU can see them. Sort of like the old glitch notch fixed about the ghost pigs. But if there were alot of people having a grenade fight, they'd see them too. I don't know if they'd see them in the same place, but they probably would see them too. Best way to clear them is to reconnect. If this isn't the problem, sorry I couldn't help :(
