Uhm, yeah. The fire is still spreading and destroying blocks...even though it is set to prevent it in my Essentials config.

Edit: Guess that was fixed in 3.5.2.

mmk, what's the permission nodes to disallow creating Buy/Sell signs? I had it working before the update, now they're not working anymore.

    Code:
                - '-essentials.signs.free.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.heal.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.create.buy'
                - '-essentials.signs.sell.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.spawnmob.create'

    ?

Still getting this error as per my previous post - any advice?

    1. Wouldn't it be better to request CBUTD add changelog support rather than sever ties with it completely?
    2. Users are going to complain about errors, whether or not they read the changelog.
    3. Providing CBUTD with a valid link would fix that problem

I love both your guys plugins, can't you please find a way to co-exist?

@Jombi: What is your * permission?

If you have essentials.* or essentials.signs.* then it's:
    Code:
                - '-essentials.signs.free.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.create.free'
                - '-essentials.signs.heal.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.create.heal'
                - '-essentials.signs.buy.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.create.buy'
                - '-essentials.signs.sell.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.create.sell'
                - '-essentials.signs.spawnmob.create'
                - '-essentials.signs.create.spawnmob'

I've been told my config file contains invalid characters but it passes parsing fine - any keen eyes able to spot a fault?

    Code:

    # If you want to use special characters in this document, such as accented letters, you MUST save the file as UTF-8, not ANSI.
    # If you receive an error when Essentials loads, ensure that:
    # - No tabs are present: YAML only allows spaces
    # - Indents are correct: YAML heirarchy is based entirely on indentation
    # - You have "escaped" all apostrophes in your text: If you want to write "don't", for example, write "don''t" instead (note the doubled apostrphe)
    # - List items are prefixed with a hyphen and indented:
    # lists:
    # - look like this
    # not:
    # - like this
    # - Text with symbols is enclosed in single or double quotation marks
    # - CraftBukkit and Permissions have been updated: CraftBukkit and Essentials almost always line up, but sometimes other plugins fall behind CraftBukkit's multiple daily updates
    # - You have saved the document as UTF-8, NOT the default, ANSI

    # When a command conflicts with another plugin, by default, Essentials will try to force the OTHER plugin to take
    # priority. If a command is in this list, Essentials will try to give ITSELF priority. This does not always work:
    # usually whichever plugin was updated most recently wins out. However, the full name of the command will always work.
    # For example, if WorldGuard and Essentials are both enabled, and WorldGuard takes control over /god, /essentials:god
    # will still map to Essentials, whereas it might normally get forced upon WorldGuard. Commands prefixed with an "e",
    # such as /egod, will always grant Essentials priority.
    # We should try to take priority over /god. If this doesn't work, use
    # /essentials:god or /egod. If god is set using WorldGuard, use /ungod to remove then use whichever you see fit.

    Jombi

    That fixed it.
    New issue, signs.

Players can glitch the buy/sell/trade/time/weather/spawnmob signs by typeing a color code in front of the top line:

"&1[Buy]" will put up a working buy sign.

well, sorry about the formatting, copy/pasting is a B****.

Ok nvm mirror is updated. Also is there a way to keep the chat bug where everything is colored? I kinda like it.

    Facepalmed

Server throws "NullPointerException" in console, and I get "Error: null" when I do spawn and /give. Any advice?

Or even better, is there an older version I can use until new patch is released?

    @essentialsteam
can you make your patched version of vanish make you not on the /list please? instead of [HIDDEN]

Only you can see the [hidden]

But I'm pretty sure everyone can see RugRats then?

Why is the group or user prefix attached to the displayname? Is that the only way Essentials can make a prefix show up in essentials chat? Since I am using iChat to show the displayname, it was quite annoying at first that it did that, but I found out that setting change-displayname: true in the config to false stopped it from doing that (and does not disable /nick like I originally thought it did). Just saying so other people may know what's up if they see the prefix listed twice in chat.

@essentialsteam can you add a way to completely disable mail from the server? I hate how I am op and I get you have no mail on logon.

    EssentialsTeam

@RugRats: add mail to disabled-commands in config
    @Bronski: With Essentials 2.5 signname.use and use.signname work.

@essentialsteam /me is completely messed up. I have it so people don't have permissions for it and they can still use it and I have completely blocked it in the essentials config - me under disabled-commands and they can still use it.
@essentialsteam players names are now the color of there prefix in permissions in /list but not in chat. I would like it so it's not that why in /list.

I am giving Essentials a try and I like what I have experienced, for the most part. I see that it has a basis for an economy plugin built into it. Is this usable with the various economy type plugins out there? Are there any economy plugins that work with this? The economy is nice, but there appears to be no easy way to introduce new money to the economy. The total money pool is what everyone starts with. Am I missing something?

Thank you for your hard work!

EDIT: I see that there is a function to sell to the server that will provide additional revenue to the economy, so disregard that portion of my question! *embarassed* Again, thanks!

I saw in the wiki there's a /fireball command but I can't get it to work. I added it to the restricted commands(OPs only) but still it just says it's not a real command when I try typing it in. :(
