Can you make it possible for only OPs to break the carts on the track? :D
    Gonna try this out!

Man, you saved me. Spent two days building a fully automated minecart system that waits at a station for 7 secs before departing around my server just to see the carts just stop and duplicate in unloaded chunks. Thx a bunch!

I think your plugin might be causing some sort of memory overflow. My server runs fine without your plugin, but when I install it, it constantly crashes with java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space errors.

Thanks for all the feedback! I wasn't expecting something like this to become so popular :D

Um, I don't think I will. I'm pretty sure there's Permissions for that.

I was wondering about this. It seems like this should be kind of memory intensive, but I hadn't noticed anything on my end. How many minecarts would you say you're running on your server? Also, I'm fairly certain there's nothing I can do to fix this :(

And to those offering their thanks, I give you my welcome! ^.^

I'm not sure how many exactly, but it can't be much. The map is about 3 weeks old, and not many people have been playing. It's a real bummer because I really like what this is supposed to do. Maybe the memory leaks will be fixed in the next Bukkit build. They said they fixed a huge memory leak.

Has this been tested with the latest Bukkit release? Doesn't seem to be working for me.

    Mr_Fj likes this.
  10. I would love to hear how your server is doing, with the memory crashes (with this plugin installed). As I found myself strugling, with that crash a lot, in the last few patches, yet not much in 1.7

In regards to the plugin not working with 1.7.3 I have no idea why this would be. I downloaded this latest snapshot and all of the syntax seems to be fine. Anyone have a clue why it would not be working? The source code is not changed.

Does anyone have this on CB1060? Does it work fine? I'm afraid to try it myself ;p

@orion304 and do it works right in 1.8.1?

id say that this is the most useful plugin for minecart systems but can you add it to dev.bukkit.org so it can be updated easier?

This worked so well up to 1185 ^_^
But then 1202+ came and destroyed it :(
Can this be fixed for 1240 and 1317?

Can you up to dateify the plugin???

As has been requested many times, I have updated this plugin!

I have no idea what new versions of bukkit did to not make it work, but everything seems to be smooth here. I spent about an hour testing the permanency part, and it does seem to be working now.

I also pushed out some changes I had in mind a long time ago, and this plugin now has a configuration file! Run the plugin once to create the configuration file, and the options in it are fairly straightforward.

Caution: activating the option "minecarts_run_over_*" is... weird. This seems to be due to how Bukkit handles collision events, but I left it as part of the release because despite its weirdness, it could be kind of cool.

are you gonna be using bukkitdev when these forums are turned off?

Yes, I've already posted the update there but the format is a little weird. I'll update the main post to reflect this.

Is there a config file for this? We were testing to see if the collision ignore feature worked and it didn't, but then we thought it might be a config file thing, but we couldn't find the file.

This plugin appears to be broken for 1.0... Any ETA on an update?
