uhm hmm what if when your gone he attacks your stuff? like you make a house, you leave to mine or something then you come back and there are like hholes in the wall and stuff? or all ur glass is broken haha
hmm.well, right now Herobrine only spawns within 30 blocks of the player xD and the player must be alone for him to spawn. So, that won't work right now, but theoretically it could be added
@tips48 in bukkit is it x, y or z that's height(Some places in the code use z as height and some y). Also working on mineshaft. And what is maxNum in makeLayer. Where is the plugin.yml . Can't test run it right now EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
A)no plugin.yml *yet*, @alta189 has one but he hasn't commited it yet. B)in bukkit z is hight C)in makeLayer maxNum is the distance around the object(e.x. maxNum = 5 would make a layer 5x5)
keep up the good work. as for suggestions...maybe when the player spots him, he will hide behind any available cover?
ok i know. i just havent because ive kept herobrine with my 1.6. when this comes out ill update to 1.7 hahaha
oh, i see Currently there is no ETA, although i will talk to alta about it. And thats the whole point EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Just a random suggestion. Maybe Herobrine should spawn more often when the player's render distance is set to low. That way it'd be foggy and mysterious. But I realize this is a server mod so idk if you can check the render distance of a client. Haven't looked into the Minecraft source myself.
Lol thanks. Also, maybe you should give the plugin a somewhat obscure name. If my friends see Herobrine running around on my server, I can easily imagine them using the /plugins command to see if I have a Herobrine plugin installed, which would ruin all of my evil fun. Of course they'll eventually figure it out anyway, but I'd like to keep 'em guessing as long as possible. Maybe I can change the name Bukkit recognizes it by from my end, in which case nevermind. Great work by the way, from what I can see on Github it looks like you guys are going at a good pace. Keep it up!
Thanks And thats another great idea, i completely forgot about /plugins. I'll have to ask alta, but im sure it will be fine. Be sure to watch this thread, and it'll be out before you know it
