Version: v1.2 Beta - Google Code
Follow Development Status: Twitter - WMisiedjanTech

With WirelessRedstone you can create connections between to redstone points, When power comes into a Transmitter sign it will create power on a Receiver sign.

I'm currently developing version 1.0 with a lot of new features!
Check out source code/Development status on:
    https://code.google.com/p/wirelessredstone/

    <font color="rgb(255, 0, 0)">WARNING:</font>
Version 0.2 is NOT be compatible with older versions.
Remove the WirelessRedstone folder in plugins before upgrading!

    How does it work?
    * Step 1

    - * Place a sign wherever you want the redstone to come from.
    * Place on the first line of the sing: [transmitter] or [WRt]
    * And on the second line any name/number you want. (Channel name)
    - Step 2
    * Place a sign wherever you want the redstone to go to.
    * Type on the first line of the sign: [receiver] or [WRr]
    * And on the second line the SAME name/number that you have typed on the second line of the transmitter. (Channel name)
    - Step 3
    * Power a Redstone to the transmitter sign.
    * Now a power will be created on the receiver sign!
    - Step 4 (Optional)
    * You can now create more Receivers or Transmitters on the same channel or a other channel!

The WRt and WRr tags are available since version 1.0a.

I've been having the same problem as others during server start, surprisingly the plugin DID work for a while, but just after I finished my auto piston door it stopped working and flooded errors at the console when I start the server or reload plugins. Darn, this was one of my best plugins.

I'm having the same problem. This plugin works fine for my things that don't use pistons. It was working fine and then it stopped working for all my piston channels I made. A new update/bug fix, quickly would be greatly appreciated. It seems just the piston part is bugged, everything else is working fine. (I think)

  6. Im getting this too. A couple of my users are epicly annoyed as they built a massive 32 track minecart switching system, only for it to be broken when the server reloaded. Could really do with a fix when your back from holiday mate.

  9. I've cobbled together a workaround using quantam connecters (http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/me...-remote-control-redstone-made-easy-953.23852/) but that dos'nt have chunk persistence, so im also using a plugin that stops certain chunks from unloading (http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-chunkload-v0-1-keep-chunks-loaded-803.15709/)
Seems to work pretty well for my users. Talking to the quantum developer, and hes gonna hopefully add chunk persistence. If he does that, i wont even need this plugin.

    FYI:
Wireless Redstone version 0.2.1 works perfectly on MC 1.7.2
Unfortunately you have to remake any transmitters/receivers that were made in Wireless Redstone version 1.0

This is just to temporarily solve some peoples problems until Wireless Redstone is updated for CB953

Are you on a mac? if so, then do not unzip the .zip with archive utility. get something else like the unarchiver.

    EDIT:
another way is decompress the zip, then compress the things in the newly created folder, then rename the new .zip to a *.jar (no .zip at all)

There's a bug that when you set up a sign like WRr, then when a current is directed to it then other signs are cloned around it. The way it happens for me is that I set a WRt next to a pressure plate, and a WRr in a different room with Redstone wires. After I step on the plate another sign appears next to the WRr (exactly the same sign with the same name) and often ruins the wiring.

    The sign's name is fabis_dung5
EDIT: I think that might be because of the name

I seem to keep having a problem where, after working with the same channel for a while, the newest add-ons don't work! (Made lightswitches with pistons and gravel, each switch has one sign which confirms it is connected, but doesn't switch on when powered.) It seems the signs don't even change into a redstone torch. Is there a limit on the number of torches on a channel, say, to reduce server load? If so, i can find a way around that using one receiver to mulitiple transmitters.

  24. Offline

    Cameron Auber

From what it says in the first post there should be unlimited connections, but in saying that I have not used more than 8 receivers on one channel, and that had 3 transmitters on the same channel (total 11 transmitters/receivers on one channel) it could also be a problem with MC 1.7, if so you can try using WR version 0.2.1 as that seems to work perfectly on my server running 1.7

    Just trying to help

Thanks Cameron, I'm back on MC and im going to try the multiple transmitter idea.
    Code:
    [power]-----[transmitter:X]

    [receiver:X]---------------------
                 \___[transmitter:1] \___[transmitter:2]
                  \___[transmitter:3] \___[transmitter:4]
just repeat that with more as necessary...

You know guys, this might sound a bit offensive to the plugin developer, but I think we should use another Wireless redstone plugin, because this one just doesn't get the support it needs.
