I was thinking about this the whole of today and how it would be a brilliant plugin... So. There is a piston which pushes cobble over lava and when it is over the lava, the cobble turns into stone. And when that stone is mined, it drops a stone piece. If you can help make it. Please send an email to: [email protected] Texturepack: AngelCraft 64 Server: 180.189.155.213 Cheers, Tomi
That'd be interesting. Currently there is no way to tell if an item is pushed over the server. BUT... how about a plugin where "if cobblestone is over lava, turn into stone"? EDIT: Upon further thought... I wonder how it'd detect that. It might just have to wait until a later build of bukkit.
Really interesting. Maby there could be a permission-based support, what group can drop Stone by mining these special stones near the lava. But sure, it'd run on my server
There you go: http://www.file-upload.net/download-3555882/CobbleToStone.jar.html Tested with 953 and its working. Note: This plugin does only change cobblestone to stone that was move over lava with the help of pistons. If you place a cobblestone over lava manually it will stay cobblestone. If you'd like to have this changed too just tell me and I will add that. Greetings, TheGildur btw.: This is my first plugin!
That's... a good way to detect if it's powering a piston block. I never even thought of that. The code above will have to be edited a little, in order to drop a "stone" when broken. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Thanks for telling feildmaster. I have completely forgotten that it should drop the real stone when mining... otherwise its kinda useless lol. I will look into adding that.
I don't know much about Java, but how would stone drop stone from stone only under those circumstances?
look at this: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/me...s-over-lava-using-pistons-to-smelt-953.24302/ feildmaster achieved exactly this.
