Question Two Prefixes ?!!

Hey guys,
I have been stuffing around with group manager and trying to work essentials chat formatting with the group section of it as I was a different coloured » for each rank (just before the message). I have tried this
Owner: '{DISPLAYNAME} &9» &b{MESSAGE}' but when I reload my server it puts 2 prefixes 1 that is just grey and says [Developer] and the other is the legit one I have set in my group manager folder. Any clues as to how to get rid of the first one?

EDIT: It also seems to not even include the » after the username but yet it has ... [Developer] [Developer] AlphaCarrot:

If you're using factions read under.

If you are using a host
If you have filezilla, log into your FTB File access and go into a folder called 'mstore'
Then, find a folder called 'factions_mconf' and open the file inside with a text editor.
Hit ctrl+f and type in the search box 'chat'. Click 'find' until you find where it says something like: '"chatSetFormatTo" and set it to: "{factions_relcolor}§l{factions_roleprefix}§r{factions_relcolor}{factions_name|rp}§f%1$s §7❱§f %2$s" (change the ❱ to whatever you had)

If you do not have a host
Go into the server folder you have and find the factions_mconf there. Then read above.

What plugins are you running. Like @yPedx described there are multiple plugins that can affect your chat display. Factions, EssentialsXChat, etc..... It'll be easier to troubleshoot if we know what we're working with.

 

When you reload.. Is it only when you reload?
Could you post a list of all your plugins?

I have started to use Deluxe Chat (Working now) Cheers anyway
