    I won't port LogBlock myself to mcAPI. Source code is available, so it shouldn't be to difficult for someone else to do it, also I'm still here. so I can answer questions. If there is more than one willing, that's up to you to handle that.

    The reasons I take this step, are the usual: I quit playing Minecraft about 5 months ago and lastly I was struggling to keep up with updates. The developement of Guardian made slow progress, so I fear it won't be ready to fully replace LB in time.

    Description:

    LogBlock logs block changes into a MySQL database. Block changes can be placed or destroyed block, explosions, burned blocks, sign text changes, chest access, leaves decay etc.
    It can be used as griefer identification tool, to find out who build a particular building, or even roll back changes by certain players. Other purposes can be e.g: Undoing of forest fires
    All additional features are optional, to keep the database as short as possible. All database actions run in their own threads to avoid server lags.
    The use of permissions plugin (or any clone) is possible, but not necessary.
    Uses Spout for chest logging (but it's fully optional, and there is no need for the client mod at all).

    Features:
    • Logging for block placing, block braking, fire, explosions, leaves decay, signtexts, lava flow and chest content
    • Very mighty commands system, not only allowing to rollback and redo, but also to tp to blockchanges, delete log ingame etc. Full list of commands.
    • Many parameters for lookup/rollback/redo/tp/clearlog commands: Block changes of one ore more player, in a specific area, in a world edit selection, specific block types only, block changes older or newer that a specific date, destroyed/created block only, in a different world and combinations of all these parameters. Full list of parameters.
    • Rebuilding map after importing a backup (/lb redo)
    • Last parameter to use the parameters of the last command
    • Quick ingame lookup of block history a wood pickaxe or a bedrock block.
    • All commands accessible from console (exept tools :D)
    • Custom queries for tools.
    • Different tool modes (lookup, rollback, redo, writelogfile and clearlog)
    • Saves block data like wool color, log type, torch adjustment, etc
    • Multiworld and multiserver support (some servers sharing the same database)
    • BigBrother log import
    • Loggable super pickaxe plugin (not to confuse with WorldEdit's super pickaxe)
    • API
    • Webstats
    Why to use LogBlock:

    Example commands: (thanks to tha d0ctor, read more about commands here)

    /lb rollback player fire since 1d3h – rolls back fire 1 day 3 hours
    /lb rollback player fire since 1d3h area 15 – rolls back fire 1 day 3 hours within a radius of 15 blocks

    /lb rollback player thad0ctor since 1h - rolls back thad0ctor 1 hour
    /lb rollback player thad0ctor since 1d area 5 – rolls back thad0ctor actions for the last day within 5 blocks
    /lb rollback area 10 since 1h30m - rolls back all modifications within 10 blocks since the list 1 hours and 30 mins
    /lb rollback area 10 before 06.11.2011 - roll back all changes in an area of 1o before June 11th, 2011
    /lb rollback player thad0ctor since 05:36:00 - roll back all changes of thad0ctor since 05:36 (server time)

    How to post error messages:

    I won't aswer questions to general MySQL setup/installation/what is MySQL (there are lots of good tutorials out there, use google)
    Please read the installation guide before asking a question about installation problems.
    Please read the FAQ before posting a error report. It may be solved there.
    In case of rollback or lookup problems: Type /lb savequeue and try again (when it's fixed then, it was a consumer problem, see FAQ)

    there are keys for the coordinates, so there arent tat much records to actually go through, maybe 1,000 at worst.
    Hm, they shouldn't. Will check that tomorrow.

    Also, it seems rollbacks dont replace what was in a chest, it's just replaces with an empty chest.

    Hey I am curious, how would I rollback TNT grief? I tried various /lb rollback commands, as well as /redo and just won't work.

    Am I missing something?

    Also I'm using the older commands.

    Guess you missed the "player" as in:
    /lb rollback player TNT

    I hate to be a burden, but /lb rollback player TNT didn't work

    I placed a TNT, blew it up and did that command and it did nothing. said 0 changes. (Once agian, I'm using the version before the version you just released)

    You may have to wait some seconds until the log gets into the db.
    Make sure the log is alredy there using the bedrock block.

    Debilitation

    I did /lb block tnt and it showed my name. When I click random spots though where the TNT blew up with bedrock it won't show though. Also that command still doesn't work.
    D;

    EDIT - Yeah man still won't work. :( its only for TNT too..

    I think you didn't enable explosion logging

    Debilitation

    Oh, I probably didn't. Had this for a long time so I was curious as to why TNT rollbacks wouldn't work.

    Got so much stuff on my mind running two servers and I completely forgot.

    Anyways, enabled explosions, lit a TnT up and it worked just fine, thanks!

    sfxworks

    This is by far a really good addon (it works with build 812 too!).

    I was just wondering if you could add one feature to it. A lot of players are coming onto my server at once because im the only 1.6 server with bukkit running. Is there a way to make it so if a player is inactive for two or more days then the server auto-rolls back their actions? It would also be great if this didn't happen if the user was say, 1 week old or more. How would you go about this?

    The reason I need this is because im getting a good 60 new accounts a day and many of them just diconnect after a good while =_=

    Good, didn't expect that :D
    That would be a best a plugin using the LogBlock api, since it wouldn't suit very much to the current festures. You'll maybe found a dev who's willing to do that for a little regard.

    What a coincidence, I'm still at CB767 (766 minus debug) and havent checked this thread in weeks... since 1.6 was on our doorstep I never bothered to take the effort to update to 800-something.

    Now I'm checking all my plugins to see if they are 818 compatible yet and BWAM, you (and Lockette) are about the only ones already ready for 818! (by 34 minutes)
    AND the new command structure is done! Thank you!
    edit: AND chest logging!
    but no permission 3.x yet, I'm on GM for now anyway, but I'm going to help ending the permission schism sometime soon, Permissions is FINALLY catching up with ingame commands and subgroups...

    Hello guys. This is really a great plugin, but i have a small problem since the last update. The Chestaccess logging doesnt work properly for our server. When i take something out of a chest and use the lb tool on the chest, it says nothing. When i put something into the chest and use the lb tool, it shows the item i took out/put in, but the amount is wrong. (For example it said i took out more than 1000 arrows when i took only a stack, i think it counted all the arrwos which were inside.) Sometimes there is also an item listed i havent touched. And if i use the tool a second time on the same chest, i often get "no results".
    So it acts very weird, i think i installed everything right. I dont even need the full chest logging, it would be enough to see who looked inside the chests. I hope you can help me.

    Unsure, but it could be because of BukkitContrib. I've not yet updated it for MC 1.6. Was planning on doing that right now, in fact.

    Wow, just wanted to write you a message :D
    It only occures with double chests, and there are some items missing (the notclicked half at opening), so I guess i missed to load the inventory of the second chest block ...

    Either replace the ":" with a space
    /lb rollback player o0AzzA0o area 10 time 3 minutes
    or disable questioner in config

    Hm, how many queue is there on average?
    If it's less than 1000, just lower consumer.delay
    when it's larger and not spamming queue overloaded messages, you have a serious problem ...

    I take it back. BukkitContrib v0.0.2 works out of the box with MC 1.6, there were no changes.

    I added code to InventoryClose

    Code:
    for (ItemStack item : event.getInventory().getContents()){
        		if (item != null) {
        			System.out.println("Item: " + item.getType() + " Amount " + item.getAmount());
        		}
        		else {
        			System.out.println("null");
        		}
        	}

    but it always correct, regardless of single or double chest.

    Thanks, then it's most likely my bad.
    OMG I found it ...
    Code:
        @Override
        public void onInventoryOpen(InventoryOpenEvent event) {
            if (!event.isCancelled() && event.getLocation() != null) {
                final BlockState state = event.getLocation().getWorld().getBlockAt(event.getLocation()).getState();
                if (state instanceof ContainerBlock)
                    containers.put(event.getPlayer().getName().hashCode(), compressInventory(((ContainerBlock)state).getInventory().getContents()));
            }
        }
    I listen for the event and get the inventory from the clicked block -.-
