When I reply in a forum with safari running from ipad mini iOS 6.something I type until at some point it breaks, I cannot see what I type and it seems I'm not typing, this hAppends after the forums update.

Ironically, I was having the same problem BEFORE the forum update and it fixed it...
Try downloading chrome for iOS. It works better anyway.

@timtower @mine-care, considering we are all programmers, why is there not an app for this forum already?

@mine-care, i would do it over the summer if I can learn swift and get curse's permission. It's actually pretty similar to java.

@Tecno_Wizard :O good luck! i will be here to help with my bare knowledge (if i can :3)
And you can make a independed app for the forums like a Forum Viewer or something, this way you dont need permission from curse or other forum providers :) But still, 99$ to join appstore :(
PS the reason why i am not learning da language, even if it is 3rd generation therefore similar to java, is because at the moment for christmas i have 32 pages of excersises aprox 20 excersises on each page Only for maths....
    =)

@mine-care, thanks, and is english not your first language? Engliah is one of the only languages where math is singular, not plural.

  10. Depends what English you use. My English is 'maths' not 'math' ;)

@mine-care, it's fine. To be honest, I would not have even known if I didn't catch that. Everything else is perfect.

  13. @Tecno_Wizard Pfft, you're being too judgemental there - "maths" is perfectly fine, as I've already said :)

I think a mobile site would be best. I mean it could be as simple as automatically setting your theme style to XFStop Mobile when the site detects that you are on a mobile browser and put it back to your original when you are not. It sounds easy enough but who knows.

IMO it's really frustrating using bukkit.org on a phone with a desktop resolution site.

  17. @teej107 I also want a mobile site, I frequently use devices such as phones or IPads. Spigot has a mobile site and it works well and looks good, I think Bukkit should have one but don't try to rush it, it will need testing ect before it can be released.

Honestly I have no problem with the website through chrome on my android. The only thing that would be nice is alerts, and you can always write a little web scraper to check, then make a simple android app that sends notifications. Must be your Web browser or phones

@jthort @Assist, i do not have a problem while on mobile, but it could by all means could be improved for our phones and tablets.

  21. For reference, you might want to take a look at this page.

I don't understand, are you saying the security blocks it? I've used htmlUnit before and I could login and read my alerts. It depends on how you scrape the site, but it's definitely possible because I've done it before.

@AdamQpzm @jthort I am working slowly on an unofficial android app for the forums using the tapatalk api. Doesn't offer all features but it has enough to work with. Won't be perfect, won't be pretty, but it will be something.
I also have issues on my phone with these forums.

  24. @jthort I was more referring to the fact that you can see how many unread alerts there are through that page :)

I find between iPad, Android, and my tablet the number one cause of this type thing is.... zomg touchscreens suck for telling where I am pointing... /me rages. Every single one uses a different ratio, different resolution, different sensitivity. Best thing I have found for solving it, use Chrome and use a stylus instead of fingers. Its not just this forum.

@Jadedcat i see your point and yes it is really anoying when buons are stacked up and you press the wrong one -_- But the thing with chrome on ipad, is that it crashes like hell! if you leave open a incognito tab and exit the app, and you try to reopen it it will open and after 2-3 sec it will crash without warning. To fix this you have to wait untilla update is out. And no removing and reinstalling doesnt work :( also if you recive a notification and you click the link it opens on safari And last but not least if you try to login to new forums and you type your email, when you click the pasword field and start typing, the login dialog closes -_- ugh
