I don't see how it invalidates your past knowledge to state that you, like the rest of us, are guessing about what will happen with Bukkit in the future.

Do you have any insider knowledge of the workings at Mojang since the Microsoft buyout?

If not, you're in no position to know what they've had time to do since then.

  2. No, but I have knowledge of Mojang's shocking ability to not meet deadlines or provide any meaningful information.

  3. Though one could still wonder which of each one will apply "next"... deadlines or providing information.... knowledge or experience... or neither :p.

And I never said you were "guessing" about the past.

The person/people who are putting the content online are the ones who would submit a counter claim. Mojang has a very "hands off" view of the Bukkit project. Their perspective may be that it's up to the bukkit staff to make a counter claim, if they choose to. Whoever is the one that uploads the craftbukkit.jar to the host provider is theoretically the one that this really falls on. My understanding is that, currently, that person is "nobody" since the majority of the staff left.
