PermissionsEx not displaying Prefixes with Essentials chat

I've tried several different plugins to get prefixes to work and haven't got anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?

I don't think prefix should be under options. Move prefixes back 2 spaces and delete options:

Completely depends on what version of PEX is being used. With 1.22+ (not sure exactly when but I know 1.22 for sure) many items have been moved under the options sub-section including default, prefix, suffix, rank.

However, the OP never specified which version he was using so we cannot actually give accurate advice.

default: true, prefix ect.. does all go under options. Thank you so much, it's been bugging me for 2 days and the awnser was here. This may solve my problem to multiverse! Thank you!
