    Testing now your plugin, the npc's aren't pulling the skins from my custom server (the skins work fine for me with other players, but the npc no, though they should.

    And I can confirm that the default client without any mods isn't using the skin library from amazon servers as well for these Citizen NPCs!

    All Citizen plugin settings default.

    @aeron: some net functions do get overwritten, so you may want to check out which ones they are in the npc lib (in the resources section). That may be causing the problem. (under npcnetserverhandler/manager etc.).

    Based on the information found here: http://citizens.wikia.com/wiki/Skins , the skins should work for a default minecraft client without any mods at all, but it doesn't I changed the name to Notch, but the npc was with deafault skin, so... its a problem at your end :)

    Hmmm... try reloading your server again. I had the same issue, then it went away. On a side note, the next version will remove the ability to set npc name colours (they changed the skin, thus served no purpose).

    I like the NPC name colors, and vote not to remove them, especially if you want to name somebody like Smith or something, then the npc pops up with a naked dude skin.

    Oh yeah, i totally forgot, my npc was in yellow color, let me check that again :D

    Edit: Tried many variations for the skin, all not working

    My NPC name was set to [Mike]

    And I had put in my webserver the following images:
    [Mike].png
    0_[Mike].png (since the ID is 0 )
    &e[Mike].png (With color code, no id)
    &e0_[Mike].png (With color code and id)

    all 4 variants failed... =/

    I just wanted to say, as my first post in the forum, love the plugin. I have lots of ideas for use of this. One I'd like to share is a regular player on our server passed away and we wanted to create the NPC that says a few words about him in a memorial creation we'll do. However, most of the players aren't comfortable with the NPC names showing up on our players list when we type /who

    Is there a way to hide their names or would I have to talk to the person who did the plugin for the /who command it's self? I believe the plugin is WhoAreYou

    Using Essentials, and whenever I type /who or /list, I don't see the npc names in the list

    Not sure whats going on here but I'm using the latest version and after making a few NPCs I am unable to delete or modify any that have been made prior to the last. For example I want to remove the NPC with 19 as its ID. If I type /npc remove 19 I get the message "You must have an NPC selected (right click)". When I right click the NPC says what hes supposed to, or nothing in this case since I havnt set it to say anything.

    Any ideas?

    Edit: Fixed by typing /npc select 19 and then removing it that way. Still it seems the whole right click thing is either obsolete or broken.

    I keep having a problem when I try to execute any command it says refer to the /citizens help then after that I put that in and it gives me an error this couldnt be completed at this time any suggestions? I had 4 npc's before it started doing that.

    Could i get a link to a working version for [733] ? your wiki is lacking in information and i cant seem to run 1.07 or 1.06 must be something in between...

    For some reason it won't let me select any npcs... I don't get any errors or anything. It's very bizarre. I tried deleting everything and it still does this.

    I found a fatal errors that kills servers. /npc color it immideatly crashes the server. also you cannot select npcs this plugin is very unstable atm and has cuase me to remove it from my servers.

    Well when you first make them you don't have to select them they are automatically selected

    I tested what you are saying but nothing is happening to me and for the you cant select them is when you first make them they are automatically selected

    It is because you have the NPC name ~15 characters, and when you added the color, it added extra characters and it crashed, at least thats what happened to me once. Try to go to the plugins/Citizens folder and check the entries, that plugin made and delete the color code entry for that npc ID, then go ingame, rename the npc with a shorter name, then try the color code, should work!

    Is it planned that the plugin itself makes sure the name length is not too long? Would be a very nice check to add to avoid these errors in the first place.

    Not sure if this is a known bug but with 740, Citizens, and one helper NPC defined, I found that when I went to sleep on an SMP server with just myself online the bed effect wouldn't roll over to the next day. Tried this several times with a couple more people online and can confirm that it fixed itself when Citizens was unloaded.

    That would probably be because it considers the NPC a player, and as the NPC is not in a bed, it won't go to the next day.

    if that is true why did it work with the old virsion (minecraft 1.4 version)

    anyway how can i change the NPC names and if that doesn't work what else could be the problem?

    (this is a good plugin but i can't use it because i can't join my server when i have it loaded)

    is there currently a way to make the NPCs to walk a spcified path yet or is that still on the waiting list another idear i had unless it's already there, when you have the walking path you could set it so when say a mob is in a certain area or two people are fighting the npc would go and kill them. (just an extra idea if it's not there already)
    (hope you know what my problem is that was in my last post)
