Anyone know where I should look in order to remove the ocean bio in a world? I have to clue what I'll have to use. Would I need to make a custom world generator? (I'm not looking for code, just advice)
MrAwellstein Yeah, I think you would need to customly generate the world. You could, when the world generates, replace ocean biomes with other biome types, but I don't think that would eliminate the water.
Yes. A custom world generator would do the trick... But I think there are plugins out there, that will dothat for you. Maybe you don't have to reinvent that Edit: too late
I think if you change it before it generates, or possibly change the BIO and then tell the world to regenerate it or something.
MrAwellstein You can't change something before it exists, and I don't think you can change it then regenerate it but you could try.
Technically the server know the blocks in a chunk before they are generated actually (or so it seems). If you pick a block at random in an ungenerated chunk the server knows what it will be (not sure if that is just the server generating the block or figuring it out based on the seed) Edit: Actually I have no clue how the chunk generation and world work.
